Evening turtles
Got my job offer through yesterday so got it signed and returned after having a read through. References and DBS need to be done before I can give notice to my current employer.
Bunny had an emergency trip to the vet and subsequent treatment yesterday as well, I had to use the cc but the bill was much less than originally quoted and they didn't charge the full emergency consultation fee. I'm not sure if it's an error but I'm keeping quiet until they say something! Bunny seems to be recovering but time will tell. Pets eh...
Today a colleague and I went for coffee so it was a spend day, pre-planned. I've actually lost track of spends unfortunately but will do my best from here on in!10 -
Congratulations lcc on getting the job 🎉🎉🎉 Hope it is everything you wanted.Today I am grateful for an extra 2 hours of sleep, for light at the end of the marking tunnel, for pip's art exhibition at school and the four friends he invited all turning up, for the arrival of 10 packing boxes.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!8

Was unable to log on Monday night, then after writing a 2 days worth post last night it got lost!
Good data have been had. Lots of sewing done, yoga & 100 skips each day, & language practice too. Even made my lunch for 3 days before work on Monday as well.
Glad it's nearly the weekend & 3 weeks left of term 😃
Grateful for children drawing me pictures & thinking my drawings are fabulous (😂), playing with clay in art class, the weather finally being dry this afternoon, DS not having to wait long for a drs appointment, chats with work bestiesUse it up, wear it out

@lcc86 congratulations to the new job and hope bunny recovers quickly.
Yesterday was a spend day as I did a little top up shop before DH goes away with the car as usual for a couple of days. Today will be an NSD as I'm off home with sick DD. Washing machine is on and to do list is written.
Edit:
So far today has been productive. Got another 2 hour nap after having a 10 hour sleep, must've needed it or I'm getting ill too. Started sorting through the food cupboards and making a list of things that need used up, that are ancient or I got for free without needing it at the time.
* bread flour and yeast - try making bagels (my colleagues bagels are sooo good, need her recipe!)
* 00 flour (bought a bag for £3!! in a farm shop ages ago) - make into pasta (time to dig out the pasta machine from the back of the cupboard)
* pigeon peas (dahl) - make dahl for my lunches or try a fancier version for tea next week

ah what a nightmare about your phone @thriftylass, it's been a good prompt to me that I need to make a list of log in information as I am a bit of a clutz with my phone's, and still haven't transferred everything over from my January mobile accident! Future me would really appreciate having done that.....
Not a NSD today, have dragged myself out to a local cafe for their Dahl and sourdough, this is my go to when I am feeling low of spirit or physically! It is starting to work. I have some jobs to do when I get back linked to my mum's estate, I think that's why I feel a bit run down.
Yesterday was a NSD and I got my fence painted, which took most of the day. At least that is some more DIY stuff I can clear out of the flat and something on my mind that is now done, and another step towards personalisation of a space that was previously very dull. Good exercise in the sunshine too. The day before I was washed out and slept nearly all day.
Congratulations on your new job @lcc86 and also on making a decision about it. New starts are exciting8 -
Today I am grateful for moving forward apace with the cabinets etc for the kitchen renovation, for finding 4 gorgeous bowls in ik3a, for half a kilo of rasps from just 1/3 of the plants, for having a plan for tomorrow to move the clearing of the back part of the house on a bit quicker, for tomorrow being dh's last day of extra work.

Woke up at stupid o'clock again. Did yoga, cleaned the log burner out & put the bucket of ash in the bin ready for today's collection, hung the washing out, did Norwegian & woke 2 boys up, & all before breakfast!
Headed to work earlier, then walked to the C00p, as I'd been charged full price for a jar of mincemeat, got a refund. Had a good day at work, but got really tired.
Has planned to have a short nap when I got home, but had to return a phonecall & I was in a queue for half an hour before I spoke to someone.
Did some sewing after tea, then had a soak in the bath.
Grateful that it stayed dry all day, getting a refund +would've said I didn't want it, if I'd not gotten it), the new kitty being safe & moving in & working on a beautiful apple green Indian wedding outfit - & having the right colour thread in my stash!Use it up, wear it out

NSD#7 here today. Won't leave the house, still home with poorly DD.
Very wet outside today, glad I got two lots of washing dried outside yesterday.
Think today I will cook some lunches (dahl), sort my recipe folders as well as the under-stair cupboard and try making bagels. Looking forward to my weekly pamper bath tonight. (Need to remember the game is on tonight, we'll root for Scotland first of course but Germany is our family's back up team)
Have a good day
Gratitude
* Calpol and DD being a wee bit better
* the smell of wet soil
* another great sleep

Morning turtles, I hope everyone is well. I am suffering still with a chest infection, burning the candle at both ends last weekend probably set me back a bit.
Slept for 9 hours last night though, so surely heading in the right direction. Will not be attending work party tonight, but may have a tipple with housemates to celebrate as they have just bought a house (I’ll be moving with them but the commute may be horrendous for it to be a long-term thing, we’ll see)Grateful for sunshine, paracetamol, for a productive morning at work despite not feeling 100%.

Didn't post yesterday but started with a checkup at the vet for bunny, he's making good progress and there was no charge so good news all round. Had a short work day as drove up to visit my parents, bought a sandwich en route as it took me four hours to get here so was quite a long journey. Spent on fuel and Dartford crossing.
Today has mainly been spent entertaining mum and dad's very hyper puppy, I'm exhausted! Ordered a card online for my niece's birthday as well.7
