FF goes to bottom then jumps to content

Edge straight to content

Opera straight to content

Chrome straight to content

edit And FF has just gone straight to content

edit 2 Now back to bottom of page

Thanks everyone. 

I've been able to reproduce this on Windows.
But only intermittently so I'm not quite sure what the issue is yet.

I'll contact our provider again, and we will continue to investigate.

Like everyone else, I noticed this and reported it.  It only seems to have happened since the suppliers did a major update tongue in cheek) and put a ring round the three dots for the edit button!
Also happens if you use the refresh button, which I have to do since the forum doesn't now refresh when you have read a post and used the button to return to the threadlist!

Still happening; I actually thought it was fixed yesterday as the first few threads took me back to where I had come from but then it reverted to going to the bottom!  Any idea when it might be fixed please?

Our forum provider hasn't been able to replicate this yet.
As I mentioned above, I was able to reproduce this briefly on Windows, but can't today - It flashes for a second at the bottom as if it might stick there, but then it goes to the correct place. 

I'll keep on trying to see if I can catch it misbehaving consistently so I can see if I can do some tests and figure out why it's happening

It seems to only happen when a board is busy.

For example, at certain times of the day the Parking board is quite busy and refreshing the screen will leave the viewer looking at the How this site works panel at the foot of every page.
At quiet times, when no thread has been edited, then it seems to work properly most of the time.

It also only appears to happen when one has been reading a thread and uses the back button to return to the thread index page. If one just refreshes the index page without viewing a thread that appears to consistently work properly.

Yep also experiencing the same 

EDIT: just realised I'm replying to a May post but it's June and I've been experiencing it in June, I'm using a pixel 7 pro if that helps
