    Nothing, no email, no phone calls and no letter. On the call I verified all my information so they have my application. If not for the £200 I would have given up on this bank by now, as it is I'm close to giving up on them.

    They're unbelievable. Do you know your account number? At least if the account has been opened you're eligible for the bonus.

    I don't know anything beyond "we sent stuff to your email to sign and return, if you didn't receive it contact us" & "yes, I can see a note here that we called you, I'll pass on your details to the relevant team that you've not received anything"

    I may call them again next week if I don't hear anything but certainly won't be holding my breath

    They bring a whole new meaning to incompetence.

    Are you able to log into the application portal? That's where I found out my account number. I did a test transaction by sending 1p to the account and confirmation of payee worked OK. I'm not putting anymore in until I can access the account!

    If you are going to have a power of attorney in the future you would find that you would need to apply to the courts in Belfast to register as well as the UK courts and also might need to visit a branch for more form filling

    I have got as far as sorting out online access and app operational. Filled in all the documents that needed electronically signed to start the switch on Monday but since signing haven't heard anything so no idea when the switch will happen.

    Danske Bank make the Ulster Bank process look competent.

    I filled out the switch documents today and electronically signed them. I requested the earliest possible switch completion date, whenever that will be. I've never experienced such a convoluted switching experience before.

    I am now awaiting my User ID, temporary pin and debit card.

    When you receive your User ID (8 digit) and temporary passcode (4 digit)  by post you can log in to online banking.
    Although first you need Danske ID app on phone/tablet as this is also required to get in.
    Or if you dont use apps, they can send out an eSafe ID device.
    They dont send out a pin for the card unless you request it. You can find the pin in Danske Mobile Banking under 'cards'

    Did your switch complete OK today? Assuming you've already funnelled £1,000 through the account you should be receiving your bonus by 3rd June, then again probably best not to assume anything with Danske!
