£3 per month for 8 debit card transactions is better than nothing. Similar to TSB who give £5 for 20 debit card transactions. I like bananas and have no problem paying for each one separately at the self service checkout.

£200 switch bonus offer now ended.
Only today have I been able to sign the documents due to Danske making repeated errors with my mobile number and generally being very slow.
I shall start composing my complaint in expectation of not receiving the bonus.0 -
Might be joining you, I reapplied after I never heard anything back about original application. I received text today about switching so fingers crossed I come under "all applications received by Danske Bank up to the date of withdrawal will qualifycrumpet_man said:£200 switch bonus offer now ended.

Based on my experience so far, I won't be holding my breath0 -
You can check the date of submission of your application in the application portal. You can find your account number there too if you don't know it yet. Sounds like it was submitted in advance of them pulling the offer if you received a text yesterday about the switch. I assume that was from your donor bank (Chase?) as Danske don't text about the switch, they send a message through the app/online banking.hupik said:Might be joining you, I reapplied after I never heard anything back about original application. Have you received your switching documents for e-signing?0 -
Switching bonus has arrived.
This has been the most convoluted switching process I have ever done and feels like it's been going on for an eternity. Although the offer has now ended, I’ve put together my timeline for anyone still going through this rather arduous task, or in the event that they do another switch offer sometime in the future to give some idea of what to expect.
25th April: - Applied for Reward Account.
16th May: - Application approved, account opened (yes, it took 3 weeks!). Switching documents sent out by email to electronically sign, signed documents returned.
18th May: - Debit card received.
21st to 24th May:
- Text received from donor bank confirming start of switch.
- Letter (sent via online banking) sent from Danske confirming switch completion date.
- Debit card PIN received.
- User ID received.
- Temporary passcode received.
30th May: - Switch completed.
4th June: - Switching bonus received.

How does the customer portal work? What information should I be using to login? I already have a Danske customer number so I selected that and am prompted for email address which I input and get error

There is variations: Mine is ID(cus number)/Pin/ digipass fob number (or app. generated? never use it this latter process, so maybe more...)0

Go to "Login with Personal Customer" option, then enter the email address you used for your application. It will then send you a text message with a code to enter.crumpet_man said:How does the customer portal work? What information should I be using to login? That's what I did and got the error. Does it make a difference that I have signed the documents and provided my donor account details for the switch?

Has your account been opened? Do you know your account number? I think once an application is approved and your account opened it disappears from the application portal. That may be why you are getting the error.crumpet_man said:That's what I did and got the error.
