Thanks, yes, I'm aware is only till Jan and then falls back to 4.1% I believe or whatever the interest rate maybe by then.

My understanding is that it is now linked to base rate. So may fall further than other rates depending on what happens.

Thanks, will bear it in mind after Jan and see how it goes compared to alternatives.  Only using Chase now as it is better than my other account I was using which was less than the 4.1% but not by much and wasn't worth the bother of moving it as very little gain financially.

Closed my November rate account today and the Jan 2025 account was offered. So anyone who hasn't swapped yet can still do so.

Thanks, that was useful to know. I only just realised mine was expiring in November, as I vaguely heard of it being changed to January instead and I assumed they would have just updated my existing one to that date instead.

So I've just sorted mine, and can confirm that it still works right now too.

I didn't even have to restart the app (I'm on Android in case that makes any difference) - after finishing the process of closing the existing boosted savings account, I just pressed the button to add a new savings account and immediately got the pop-up menu with options for boosted rate or standard savings account (which wasn't happening before I closed the existing boosted rate account)

So it was pretty straightforward and quick, other than having to re-setup some scheduled payments I had on the previous account (I took a screenshot of the details of each one before I closed it, to make things a bit easier)

Just "upcycled" my Saver - closed my 4th November one, and opened a 16th January one.    I was going to leave it until closer to November in case a longer extension came along.
