That's right, you must qualify. Did you have £50,000 across accounts on 2nd May?
I only had a few hundred in Chase accounts on 2nd May hence why I qualified for the initial 5.1% rate
It's not relevant but the qualifying date for the Nov saver was 8th March
Bad luck though. Some people reported that force closing the app or restarting your phone made the original offer available to them. Got to be worth a try
    I tried that.

I just want to make people aware that they may lose their 5.1 November rate completely if they close their account in the hope of getting a 5.1 rate until January.
Obviously I met their criteria for the 5.1 in the first place but for whatever reason I no longer meet their 5.1 criteria rate now.
Perhaps I will contact them when I have time to find out why and if anything can be done about it.

I also have the 5.1 November rate (so qualify for the boost according to their Ts&Cs).  I just called Chase to ask if I could close my Saver account and open a new one with the January boost, and was told I would not qualify, as I've already benefitted form the earlier offer.
My guess is that Chase will not be Best Buy by November in any case, even with the Boost, so it's no big deal if I can't extend the Boost till January.

They may say that, but many have closed and re-opened it to extend the boosted rate.
