You need to go into your Chase Saver Plus account and then at the top right hand corner (on Android) tap the three dots. One of the options is 'Close account'.Hal17 said:I need some help please! When I click on the three little dots I do not see an option to close the account. Reading the posts above, everyone seems to have done it easily.
Once closed and your balance has been transferred to the account of your choice, you should be presented with the new Chase Saver Plus boosted account offer that you can open. Please call me 'Kazza'.2 -
Just seen this - thanks. Just worked for me 😀0

Am I reading it right that you can apply for chases booster account if you are already an existing customer and with less than £50,000 in your chase saver account?0

If you're eligible you should receive a notification in the appYou qualify if:
- You're an existing customer who had less than £50,000 in
total across any Chase savings accounts you held on 2 May 2024 (you can
hold up to 10 of these accounts);
OR - You join or joined Chase on or after 3 May 2024.

Worked for me too - thanks for all the details - I would never have thought to close my account and re-open, I wouldn't have been confident that I would be offered the boosted rate

Also worked for me, closed the first Nov Boost account and immediately opened the January version.
But what annoyed me is I checked with Chase if I would be able to do this, they were adamant that I wouldn't be eligible as I had already opened a boosted account and closing it would prevent opening the newer one.

You slightly confused me as I thought we were already in 06/24!ColdIron said:
Yes but it's still a better return. The cross over point is £300 spend where both return £3. Anything beyond this favours the CC and it's not hard for me to hit the £750 for the max £15 cashback (less the £3 fee). Then I fall back on my Barclaycard 0% 22 month CC for stoozing. I have no obvious use for Chase until 03/24 when the Edge offer ends or the Barclays 0% period reduces to a few monthsTBC15 said:

In the words of Captain Mainwaring: Well done Wilson, I was just waiting to see who'd be the first one to spot that"RedImp_2 said:

I had no boost just bog standard 4.1%. I only know about this from these forums. A poor show from chase. I sent a msg to their team asking how I can open one of these things, they said we aren't doing them anyone and asked how I found out about it! Said they will contact me when they start doing the bonus rate again!
Anyway, followed the instructions here, closed the account and opened up the 5.1 % one. Ta!0 -
You could try opening a Cahoot Sunny Day Saver account 5.2% up to £3,000 instant access as well.worriednoob said:
Thanks. I thought so. Really disappointed, but hey their rules.Wheres_My_Cashback said:
Chase do not accept customers back who have previously closed their current account.worriednoob said:I have tried to open Chase account, but they declined me. No reasons given, but I'm thinking of two reasons:-- I used to have a Chase account which I closed July 2023
- When completing the current Chase account application, I accidently chose that I would be using the account for Investments
