I'm sure the other members in the queue wouldn't mind waiting for you @beanielou (I certainly wouldn't 🤗) or perhaps weigh at the end. 🤔 You're doing well to stay close to target range on your own though. 👍
At least you got a loss @Matron_Midge so you know you can do it. It's hard when life gets in the way. I usually manage to eat virtually syn free on days when I can to allow for weekend treats or eating out.
I've got bedding out too @joedenise but it's hardly moving and trying hard to rain although none is forecast. 🤔
Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, egg, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
L- veggie omelette and pickles (P, S)
D- roast chicken (P), SW roast potatoes (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns - HM gravy 4, weekend wine 😁0 -
It did actually rain here for about 15 minutes @maman but it started about 10 minutes after I put the first lot out so I left it. There was virtually no breeze but both lots of bedding were dry by lunchtime and beds remade (only the spare bed has to have the same lot of bedding put back on!). There wasn't any rain forecast here either - if there had of been I wouldn't have bothered doing the washing.0

Afternoon all 👋🏻 still here, still juggling that lb!
Big hugs to those in need (plus their hubby).
Heartfelt hugs to Bubbs, my sister’s year anniversary came round way too fast too 💞💔💞
Nothing much changed here other than we are now experts at home dialysis 🤗
So glad the school hols have started, has been a chaotic & exhausting few weeks. Including OFSTED (complaint put in re the lead inspector so no official report out yet). Week before last I had to go home early (Friday) as CF kicked in, was practically on my knees with exhaustion 😢.
Am now knuckling down & concentrating on SW to see if I can lose more than a lb and not play tennis with it 🤨.
So! Can anyone tell me if packs of dried rice (golden veg & chicken flavoured) are still free please? Also pasta packs, broccoli & cheese?
NSV for me was finding bottles of Vimto cherry for 99p in home bargains (Vimto have ceased selling it 🙁) and cleared the shelf 😳. One happy son as it’s his favourite flavour 🤗.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Good to see you posting @TakeItEazy. I thought you'd get used to the home dialysis PDQ. I'm sure it makes life much easier.
Good on you complaining about the Lead Inspector. Hopefully, if enough schools do the same things will change.👍
Aldi Essentials savoury rice is free but other brands like Batchelors are between 1.5 and 2 syns.
Batchelors pasta and sauce is 2.5 syns for broccoli and cheese.

Morning all, very wet and very dull here, again!I was out for lunch yesterday and had a couple of glasses of wine and I feel really out of sorts this morning. Perhaps due to now not having alcohol regularly or the only other thing i can think of is HRT medication was changed about three months ago. No idea if this would interfere with alcohol but I’m sticking to soda and lime when I’m out in future!Nothing much planned today but will head out for a walk in a bit to lift my mood. Menu is more suited to a winter’s day but think summer is bypassing us!B - bran flakes HEXB, berries, yoghurt 0.5
L - lentil soup
D - mince (with loads of onion and carrots), potatoes, broccoli
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Bother! Just checked and got the wrong pack from home bargains! Is microwave rice 🙁 syns please? Also Tesco golden microwave 🤬 so annoyed with myself 🫣Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Afternoon all, don't know where this morning has gone - it just seems to have disappeared although I have done a machine load of washing, hung on the line and now got it back in dry. Have also been shopping as DH has a hospital appointment tomorrow and we'll need to leave around mid day so decided it was more sensible to shop today rather than tomorrow as we'll need an early lunch.
Sorry @TakeItEazy but I don't go to group anymore so can't help with the syns. Granola isn't something I have so haven't any idea of what the syns might be or whether or not it's a HEB, although if it is it would probably be syns on top as most cereals are 35 or 40g.
Today's plan:
B - breakfast hash
L - tuna mayo and cucumber sandwich
D - cauliflower cheese, chips
HEA1 - milk
HEB - cheese
Syns - LTL mayo 0.5; LF spread 2; frozen chips 4? (will check if these are showing in my book but may not be as not seen them before); cheese sauce mix 4
Have a good day everyone.

Granola is 5 for 25g and the Tesco rice is 2. 5 @TakeItEazy. I can't put the Home Bargains rice through the calculator as not enough information but I suspect it's similar to the Tesco.
It was dull and damp here this morning but it's cleared up now @joedenise.. Hope your walk cheered you up @Jellybaby.
Tomorrow I'm going to my friend's for lunch so I'll eat what I'm given. 😉. It does help that I'm in target so can relax a little but I'll be back on plan on Wednesday.
Today's plan -
B-HEB porridge, HEA milk, strawberries (S), banana (F)
L- ham, egg (P), fried veg and pickles (S), 1 potato (F)
D- baked cod (P), SW chips, mushy peas (F), mushrooms, tomatoes, roast cauliflower, purple sprouting broccoli (S)
