Bubbs, can I ask how you make your fake KFC? Do you use couscous to coat it? Thanks in advance Willow.

Morning all, well done on the loss @bubbs. I lost a pound and I’m happy 😃

    Take care of yourself @maddiemay

Please send some heat and sunshine my way!  It’s most definitely not summer here, I nearly put the heating on during the week 😱 Today is warmer but heavy rain forecast from 4ish so I’ve two loads on the line and keeping an eye out.

Syn bank ready to go again and meals listed rather than planned. I’m finding this works better for me, giving flexibility when the sudden lunch or dinner out happens!

    Happy Saturday everyone.

Well done @Jellybaby on your lb loss.

Glad to hear it's unlikely that you've broken your hip.  Hopefully complete rest will do the job.  Good of OH taking charge domestic matters.

Good to hear you're back to losing ways @bubbs and @Jellybaby.,👏👏👏 Well done to you both.

It seems like a long time since you posted a wee loss @beanielou. Have you been going to group? STS? Eating Smarties? 🤣🤔

Much cooler here today but it didn't rain until about 4 pm and now it's stopped. I've been listening to the golf @Jellybaby and it sounds horrible in Scotland. ☹️

I do hope rest will do the trick @maddiemay 🤞

Amazed that you've sorted everything out for the car in a week @joedenise

Back on plan today. After yesterday's day out I had to do my meal plan and shopping today instead . I got everything I needed but loads of veg missing in Sainsburys this afternoon.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, scrambled eggs, ham (P), tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
    L- lentil soup (P, S), veg hash (F, S)
    D- chicken stir fry with noodles (P, F, S)
Syns - tbsp honey 2.5🤔 weekend wine 😊

@maman. Havent been to group for a wee while.  As my balance gets worse I find it hard to stand on the scales without wobbling which is not ideal. My new favorite thing is orange yorkie! I am about 1 to 1 1/2 lbs over the top of target. The poor summer is not helping.

Morning all,  a bit of a lay in this morning!  Didn't get up until 6.30, LOL!  Definitely a bit cooler today.  Didn't get the washing done after all yesterday so have got one lot of bedding in the machine at the moment.  Decided it was too hot to do anything yesterday other than absolute necessities like feeding us and washing up!  May well do the other load of bedding shortly once the other lot is out on the line.  Amazingly there isn't enough to make up a full load of either darks, lights or colours in the wash basket so there definitely won't be a third load today!

You're not the only one surprised about getting the car sorted in a week @maman but with LV being amazingly quick getting the money into our bank account and actually finding a car DH was happy with (I don't drive the bigger car unless I absolutely have to because the smaller one is in the garage for servicing or something!).

Sounds like you're struggling a bit like me @beanielou although at least the weight seems to be coming off rather than going on now for me albeit very, very slowly!  Any plans on going back to group in the future?

We didn't eat all the chicken nuggets I made/cooked yesterday so have left them in the fridge to snack on over the next couple of days.  If there's any left on Tuesday they'll get added to lunch!

    Today's plan:

B - fry up with bacon
L - LF burger, onions, gherkin slices in soft pitta
D - toad in the whole, roast potatoes, veg

    HEA - milk
    HEB - soft pitta
Syns - LF burger 0.5; LF sausages 2; flour 4.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Denise. The problem with going to group is the standing on the scales. As I wobble the scales wobble. Not ideal to get a true reading. Nor when there is a queue behind me.

  • Hi all. I’ve been MIA since Wednesday.
I got a paltry 0.5 loss on Thursday but I’m ok with that.
Friday night saw a trip to see friends and we had lots (too much) wine and a cheese/charcuterie board. Very nice but very naughty. I did load up of the celery and grapes but syns and cheese that weren’t on the HE list were munched along with non HEb crackers. Ho hum.
    Today looks like this.
B banana and overnight oats with frozen fruit and fage 0%
L pasta salad with cuc, corn, toms, onion, jalapeños and cottage cheese as the dressing.
D Iguana’s Bahamian chicken curry (packet mix with light coconut milk - 4 syns) and rice with purple sprouting broccoli on the side
The struggle is real but it continues.
    Back later.
