Sorry I cross posted with you @bubbs, then half my post went missing so took ages to sort out.

It wasn't that hot here yesterday but I cooked a chicken too. I've got some left too but fish is defrosted now so won't be using it today.

Morning all, needn't have bothered watering the garden and pots last night with the amount of rain we had overnight but at least it's not raining now!  None forecast for the rest of the day but we'll see!

That was a fantastic veg box @bubbs.  My Lidl haven't had any when I've been for ages now.  The trouble is they keep changing the time they're available.  Always used to be about 9.30am but it seems that quite often they're much earlier and other times not until later in the morning.  It's definitely about being there at the right time on any particular day!  Have managed to order a TGTG bag from Morrisons for this evening so hopefully they'll be plenty of fruit and veg and not loads of bread!!!

    Today's plan:

    B - weetabix, milk, fruit
L - sweet chilli noodles with salad bits
    D - jerk chicken, rice n beans

    HEA1 & 2 milk
    HEB - weetabix
Syns - 2 Tbs sweet chilli sauce 3; 50ml light coconut milk 2

    Have a good day everyone.

Sun shining here and little rain overnight. Envious of TGTG boxes nothing here no decent size stores and I think they donate to the local food project and food bank. @bubbs great haul and hope you successful later @joedenise

OH and I managed between us to make a fish pie, Sausages and salad later - pork and marmalade for him and chicken for me with large mixed salad, will be over on syns as there will be a little stewed apple and custard to be used up, trying to use some of the older stuff from the freezer, all good being old style, but end up with so many bits and bats.

Pain is easing and mobility a little better in that I can do a bit of tidying and help with cooking, but too twangy to walk about more, getting the hang of the crutches with practice.

WI on own scales earlier I would be out of range at SW, but not by much I think.
