That's amazing news @NornIronRose! Many Congratulations and welcome back!😊

People often take a break from SW but it's not often they come back with an announcement like that. You did well to only gain half a stone. I can do that on a couple of weeks holiday! 🤣 Enjoy your break with your family and then come back raring to go again! 👍🏼

Shame about STS yesterday @bubbs. Slimming World works in mysterious ways. Hope you're feeling better. 😊

I forgot to post that I stocked up on Frylight on Friday, 99p in Farmfoods. 👍🏼

It's been a good day here too @joedenise. DH is just about to bring the washing in to save me having to negotiate the building site.

I so enjoyed my prawns last night that I had them again for lunch today. I've had a productive day,  batch cooked swede & carrot mash and I've got a tray of 40 meatballs ready to go into the oven when I'm doing the potatoes later.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
    L- JP (F), prawns (P), salad (S)
D- beef in 'red wine' (P,S), roast potatoes (F), many Speed vegetables (S)
Syns- LTL mayo 1, cornflour 1, weekend wine😁

Wow that's brilliant news @NornIronRose!  Congratulations.  Enjoy your trip back to Northern Ireland and come back with your head in the right place to get back into the SW mindset!

I'm managing to do my roast in one tray today so it's in the top oven which will save some electric use!  Reason being I forgot to buy carrots so it's just the chicken, potatoes and peppers being roasted.  Will be cooking Brussels, green beans, peas and some chard from the garden.  You've reminded me @maman that I've got some carrot and swede mash in the freezer so think I might  grab some to defrost to up the Speed with dinner tonight.

Back home and trying to catch up with everything after nearly 2 weeks in beautiful N. Wales, weather good 80% of the time, and mostly dry since came home so lots of washing dried.,

I really need to loose 2lbs to be certain of coming in mid- range, but hoping for a tiny loss to sneak in at top of range Tuesday evening.  Tum far from happy for a while now which makes it difficult ATM the less fibre the better for it, but not good for SW or health generally.

Great to see you back @NornIronRose, wow so much has happened to you, congrats on the wedding, but commiserations on the injury.

She contacted me in March to say she was changing her name after being banned but hasn't been back on with her new name.  I last messaged her at the end of March but she didn't reply so no idea how she's doing now.  Such a shame as her posts were always good.

Back later with my normal post - just having a cuppa!

Morning all,  wow! @NornIronRose huge congratulations 🎉 Have a lovely time away!

Funnily, I was thinking about Longwalker too during the week. I hope she’s doing well and reads along from time to time.

Thanks for the heads up on Frylight. I’ll have a look on Thursday when I’m in town. I’ll have a look at their pickles too as I’m down to only a few jars.

    No washing today 🤣🥳

    Today’s food:
    B - fruit salad, Kvarg 0.5
L - ham salad roll HEXB, lentil soup
D - chicken schnitzel 4 breadcrumbs, SW chips, roasted veg

Still leaves plenty syns if I want anything else.

    Have a good day everyone!

Morning all, back with my normal post!  Another dry but cloudy day so another load of washing done and hung out on the line to dry.  It's forecast to stay dry until about 6pm so washing should dry OK long before that.  There's a little bit of breeze but not much.

Had a cheeky weigh this morning and have lost a whole 0.2lb (hardly worth worrying about - it certainly wouldn't show on SW scales!).  Hope I can shift a bit more by WI on Wednesday morning!

Chicken schnitzel sounds lovely @Jellybaby.  It's something I haven't done for ages.  Something to try and remember to put on next month's menu plan!

    Today's plan:

B - scrambled eggs on toast
    L - brunch hash
    D - Spanish rice

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - chorizo 3.5; mini mix choc lolly 6; may have a couple of 0% G&Ts 0.5 as well but will see if I fancy them (not drinking at the moment as DH can't and not keen on drinking on my own!)

    Have a good day everyone.
