    Evening all

    I know Denise, don't seem possible it's been a year 😢

Maman, it's not Mum's knee although that is knackered! it's the side of her leg, like the side of her calf.

Somehow i have woke up with a bad shoulder, dunno what i have done or if it was moving boxes yesterday, i tell you i should be as skinny as a bloody rake 🤣

Well WI again tomorrow, that soon comes round! Hoping for a loss 🤞🤞

Been real dull here today i didn't even bother doing any washing to hang out, while i was writing orders out i put my nets in but i hang them straight back up.

I was starving as only had watermelon for breakfast so had my lunch at 11.45!

Hexb and a, pitta stuffed to the rafters with cheese spread, ham and beetroot, on the side, crab sticks, 2 tomatoes, apricots and an apple

Fave fake KFC for tea 😘

Sorry to hear about your DMum @bubbs. Let’s hope her leg/mobility improves. Go easy on your shoulder too xx

I hit the jackpot in Lidl at lunchtime. They had no less than 8 £1.50 boxes so I grabbed one containing:

    Cantaloupe melon

    4 oranges

    4 red peppers

    4 pears

    4 bananas

    2 kiwis

    5 courgettes

    1 aubergine

    1 mango

    5 carrots

    Box of mixed grapes

    800g new potatoes

I had to buy a carrier bag and the handles were straining I thought they were going to break! All washed and sorted into fruit bowl and fridge. I’m going to have the pears after dinner of SW sweet chilli chicken and rice. Will also take some for a train picnic tomorrow.

@bubbs those meal inspirational pictures look amazing 🤩🤩🤩, it makes me want to eat salad right now - it is a good job I have some in and that is what I will behaving for dinner tomorrow along with 9syn southern fried chicken.

Thanks @Mrbowie and well done on your loss, I wish I was 9stone something 😂😂😂

Thanks @joedenise and sorry about your DH suffering rom the pain the in the knee, not nice.  Thank you for the breakfast suggestions I was actually thinking, well inspired by what I read recently about cinnamon being really good for type 2 diabetes (good at maintaining blood sugar levels) (I have type 2 diabetes) and I was going to resurrect a favourite of mine from the SW days when I use to go and that is (I use to have oatso simple) but the real oats are better for you I am going to have porridge with a couple fo Tsps of stevia and cinnamon mixed up (40g oats) SW portion. If successfull (I will try this tomorrow) I will have this long term. 😊😊😊

That box sounds fantastic @Coxy11 you got lucky there. 🍐🍑🍉🍒🍓🥭🍍

Today I have surprised myself I didn't feel like going swimming, I felt tired and achey, but I went because I am still quite keen and I did 32 lengths (or 34) 800M which is my aim for each day that I go. I am quite pleased with that. I feel like I should be skinny!! 😂😂😂 But I most certainly am not!!

So tomorrows plan is as follows:-

Breakfast HeB Poridge and cinnamon and stevia 0.5 syn for extra tsp of stevia.

Lunch I am going to have Curry beans on toast I beleive it is 0.5 syn per tin and 8 syns for the bread

Dinner Southern fried chicken 9 syns salad zero and chips 3 syns.

    Total so far 21

I may go over and have a nutrigrain bar tomorrow which is 9 syns and some cheese also which is HeA.

So overall -5 however I plan on going swimming again tomorrow afternoon.

    Wishing everyone wonderful weekends😊😊😊

Morning all, weather not looking too bad at the moment but forecast for rain later but really need to do some bedding so will leave hanging it out until. a bit later - it's forecast to rain from about 9.30 for a couple of hours - so hopefully it will dry over the day.

@HotDog2020 - I know you're planning on having salad for dinner but you really could do with having a bit more Speed during the day.  How about some fruit with your porridge for breakfast but if you really can't face fruit on your porridge how about a bowlful after it it?  I think you'll find porridge a lot more filling than a bowl of cereal.

As you're synning bread at lunchtime at 8 syns am I right in thinking that is 2 slices of the crustless wholemeal?  How about rather than having bread with the beans having a couple of hash browns (4 syns) and a couple of eggs plus some mushrooms and tomatoes (for Speed) with them?  I think that would be more satisfying over all for half the syns or even forget the hash browns and have a syn free lunch?

Could you make your own Southern Fried Chicken rather than bought pieces?  Very easy to make and bake in the oven.  Just prep the chicken pieces, dip in beaten egg and then couscous with some herbs (I use different ones every time so it always tastes a bit different but always include mustard powder and paprika), place on a baking sheet and spray with Firelight or similar and cook for about 30-35 minutes, turning the tray half way.  I cook SW chips at the same time as they take a similar length of time.  You would then be having a syn free meal rather than using 12 syns!  You would of course saved enough syns for that Nutrigrain bar not to take you over syns for the day!

Hope this is helpful for you.

@bubbs - that's very unusual for you not to eat all your meal as you enjoy your food so much.  Hope you're not going down with something!  Did you have your fruit and ice cream as usual later?

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up
L - toasted cheese sandwich, pickled onions, pickles
D - slow cooked pork and chickpea curry, rice, mini naan bread

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - sausages 2; Caramel bar 6

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning and happy Saturday.
    My plan today is

    HEa milk and parmesan
HEb Roberts oaty bread - 2 slices

    b yog banana
l eggs and mushrooms on toast
d pasta with HM tomato sauce and Parmesan on top. Large portion of strawberries
no planned syns because tomorrow is football and hubby is making homemade pizza. Plus,, there will be wine.
A sneaky peek this morning showed absolutely no loss at all since Thursday so I’m feeling very fed up but I really must push past it. I feel slimmer but maybe it’s just my imagination. Part of me wants to go rogue and eat all the naughties I can think of but I know I’ll pay for it in the long term.. Aarrrgggghh!
We have a fair bit of stress going on at the moment (from 3 different situations) and I wonder if that is causing my body to rebel. Non of it is going to be sorted in the short term either and non of it we have any control over but it is certainly causing sleepless nights.
Ah well, keep on going. Stick to controlling what I can and ces’t  La vie.
    Ill be back later.

@Matron_Midge - if you're feeling slimmer maybe you've lost inches rather than lbs so a good NSV.

Morning all, another wee half pound off this morning. Good it’s off but I wanted six or seven 🤣🤣🤣

I think it was you who asked how much do I have to go to target @maman and I’ve been thinking about it the last few days. My head says another 1 stone 10 pounds and I’ll work towards that but will evaluate once I get into the stone mark. I’ve already lost two stones but the final two are proving really hard work to shift!

    Today’s food:
B - w/meal roll HEXB, bacon medallions, McGhees tattie scone 3, brown sauce 1
L - will probably just have fruit as I’m out and about. I’ll have an Americano when I meet a friend later
D - homemade burgers, SW chips, huge salad, gherkins, cheese HEXA2, burger sauce 4

Have a great Saturday everyone 😀

I have tried shop bought fruit and the only stuff I like is the premium stuff at MandS, I have already spent loads on swimming and I have just had to increase my gas electric contribution, If I was to spend £20+ a week on fruit from mands, I would struggle to get the money together at the end of the month to save anything. I think you are right though a bowl of 40g is not going to be very filling. I didn't try this this morning but I might another day.

The bread I would have used is medium cut hovis 800g loaf wholemeal, I don't like mushrooms or tomatoes as a side, and I would probably be hungry after with hash browns instead of bread. Unless I make them myself which may be a possibility in the future, but I have to say I am trying to not enter the kitchen, I am lazy in the kitchen.

I have to say I very much am not keen on your suggestions, I know you are trying to be helpful. But perhaps I am really not cut out for SW diet. I hope you are not offended when I say this. But I can't go from 100 to 0 so quickly I know what is involved in SW and tbh I probably can't do it, I am just not happy about sacrificing enjoyable food for food that is not a good substitute, I now haven't followed any of my plans and I think I will not continue with it as it is clear that I am not going to follow plan, whatever I do it is just not good enough, so I think I will do my own thing back on my mortgage free wannabe diary and leave this thread as the answer is not here.

Thanks for all trying to help but I think it is a case that won't win.
