Thanks @Jellybaby. I'll have a look at the recipe and see whether I think it's worth it!0

Mrbowie said:joedenise said:@Mrbowie - McCains jackets are 0.5 syn each. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but your HM crisps have to be synned as if they were bought ones so about 5 syns!
I seemed to remember a lady bringing some in shed sprayed with frylight and microwaved them, when I used to go to group and the leader said syn them for 1/2syn if only having about 25g.
Obviously it's changed?
Thanks for the heads up0 -
Updated I've change my evening meal to jacket with cheese, beans and sprouts, weird I know but just fancied it.0

Positives:-
Today and yesterday I have not had any snacks or take out. I am swimming a lot reaching 32 lengths in one session. And I feel positive, like I am on to a winning bet. Todays lunch was on wholemal bread as opposed to bagel and no butter, light cream cheese and smoked salmon.
Negatives:
Still eating cereal for breakfast (big bowl full not sw friendly type (Balance like special k)) however I have ordered stuff for a cooked breakfast for next week - lets see if I follow through with the plan. Eating two nutrigrain bars as a snack at 11am this is I beleive 18 sysn alone, way too much, I am reducing this to one next week.
Mission:-
1) Eat cooked breakfast all next week.
2) Have just one nutrigrain bar
3) Eat low syn lunch
4) Keep up with swimming and housework (Activities).
Feeling positive ❤️🏋️♀️❤️😉😉😉
P.S I did check weight tonight and no change, but I am not going to log it until tomorrow, and see what I get in the morning hoping for a loss...wish me luck...I will report tomorrow morning.0 -
Morning. It’s not a good one SW wise (for me) I’ve gained 2.5 lbs. Aaarrgghh. That has undone almost all I’ve lost since I got back from my hols. I think it’s an unfair result/fake reading as I had a takeaway and some wine with football. Not trying to excuse it but I think I maybe full of fluid. Anyway, I shall plod along and I’m sure it will sort itself out.
Day off today so I’ve planned our meals next week and I just need to go shopping. I’ve also promised to bake a Friday treat for work tomorrow . Love baking but if it’s here, I eat it so it’s good I can I can leave it in the staff kitchen and let all my scrawny colleagues eat their fill. It’ll be gone by lunchtime 🤣
predictably it’s raining here.I’m going to call on my parents and will no doubt spend quite a bit of the day there.
Right, no point being mawky I’ll be back later.0 -
I've lost a lb, not a huge win, but better then a kick in the teeth, although I think a gain would be better then that 🤣🤣🤣🤣 23 stones 11 lbs

Morning all, lovey day here with blue sky and plenty of sunshine. Am making the most of it and hung out a load of washing on the line to dry. Hoping it will be dry by just after lunch as need to go out shortly after as DH needs to get to Canterbury for a CT scan appointment. We've booked to stay over for the night so probably won't be back on later or first thing tomorrow.
This of course means eating out and probably a drink or two! But will choose wisely - maybe gammon or steak, jacket potato or Mediterranean salad (they usually don't have any of this left by the evening) and a side salad.
Sorry about the gain @Matron_Midge but I'm sure it'll soon be off especially if you think it's probably fluid. That's the problem with eating out/drinking the night before WI!
Well done on the lb loss @HotDog2020. That would be a huge win for me so don't knock it!
Today's plan:
B - weetabix, milk, fruit
L - LO mini meatloaf, chips, salad
D - not sure but as above will choose wisely!
HEA1 & 2 - milk
HEB - weetabix
Syns - probably a couple of G&Ts 6; salad dressing 1 (I only dip my fork into it and drip on my salad!); butter (if I have a jacket) 3.5 - so look like I'll still be within syns!
Have a good day everyone.1 -
Morning all,
Nice day here and warm in the office. We can’t have the windows open as there is building work and related workmen banter right outside, so we have them closed with a big fan on. Several of us are women of a certain age and it is much needed!
Good result last night in the footie. I will be on a train back from Manchester on Sunday so may miss the start of the final. Oh well!
Food today:
B – blueberry wheat pillows, blueberries, 0% vanilla yog – HEB, S, 0.5
L – orzo pot (orzo, red onion, sundried tomatoes, feta, red wine vinegar) – Free, S, 1, HEA
D – slow cooker pulled pork, coleslaw, salad – Free, 6, S
HEA – milk
Syns – 7.5
Sorry about the gain @Matron_Midge - definitely bad timing with the football and related takeaway/wine. Hopefully all will be rectified next week x
Well done on the loss @HotDog2020 - slow and steady wins the race x
Hope DH gets on okay with the scan @joedenise x

Morning all, well done on the loss @HotDog2020 a loss is a loss and you’re still making changes to what you eat so go with it.
Blah to the gain @Matron_Midge I feel your pain as this frequently happens to me but it will work itself out. Keep plodding 🙂
Dull, grey and forecast for more rain later. Kinda matches my mood! Didn’t sleep particularly well and feel quite bloated. About to pick up mother and do the shopping.Today’s food:
B - banana, coffee not hungry yet
L - baked potato, either cheese or beans with salad
D - chicken curry with rice
Have a god day everyone!1
