No need to leave the thread @HotDog2020.  I didn't intend to offend with my suggestions.  Nobody is saying you must do it this way it is intended to be helpful but not set in stone just ideas.  Is it a case of you haven't got time to cook from scratch?  If that's the case then I can understand buying ready made things and synning them.

Well done on your loss @Jellybaby. 👏👏👏 We always want more but you'll get there. You've had to adjust to all the changes that retirement brings but as you settle into the new normal then you'll find ways of making it work around your new life.

Keep plodding on @Matron_Midge. Sorry to hear about the stressful situations but SW is something that you can control and you're right that you wouldn't feel better eating all the wrong things.

Sorry to see you go @HotDog2020. Obviously, on a SW thread, you were going to get SW advice. We're here because we know SW works.

It was really lovely here this morning but since 1.30pm it's tipped down. It was like someone turned a tap on. ☹️

I'm out dancing this evening and I'm taking a light supper with me to have in the break so it's a low syn Saturday with plenty of Body Magic for me. 👍

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, bacon, egg (P), baked beans (F)
    L- JP (F), tuna (P), salad (S)
    D- prawn salad (P, S, F)
    Syns - LTL mayo 2

Hi Maman, sorry but it will only work if you feel some type of enjoyment on the plan, or enjoy the alternatives to the higher synned food, I don't want to eat a load of stuff that I quite frankly do not relish. I can't see the plan working for me, as I think it is too restrictive and unenjoyable. I hope I haven't upset anyone by saying it.

Sorry @joedenise but I think this thread is for hardcore SW members not people trying to make a change bit by bit. I can't make those changes happily sorry. I go swimming because I enjoy it, it is not a hardship. I am also cutting back in my own way, I wish there was a thread for that, I think I will make my Mortgage free wannabe thread all about self improvement...as it is my diary it will be around what I think I can do to improve and not worry about being an ultra sw hardcore person.

I wish everyone a wonderful SW journey on the thread, you are all an inspiration. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

@HotDog2020 - sorry to see you go but you must do what it right for you.  It's a good idea to use your own diary to show the changes you are making.  You can then look back over time to see how far you've come.  Good luck with your weight loss.

Morning all, it's a lovely sunny day here so have done another load of washing and it's out on the line to dry.  Forecast is dry all day although getting cloudy later so should be able to get the washing dry.  Just as well as it's the spare bed duvet cover and sheet which need to go back on later as DH is sleeping in there for part of the night at the moment and as it's only a double and not a king I haven't got any spares for it as it doesn't generally get used very much since both DDs moved back south from Yorkshire.

A STS is better than a gain as you say @bubbs so congratulations on that.  I know you'd have liked a loss but our bodies always seem to do their own thing, don't they?

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up
L - burger, onions, pickles in soft pitta
D - roast chicken with roast potatoes, roasted veg and green veg

    HEA - milk
    HEB - soft pitta
Syns - sausages 2; not sure what else yet but no doubt there will be something!

    Have a good day everyone.

Thanks @bubbs.  Looks like there are a few recipes worth using there.  Will save this for later!

    Hi ladies. (And gents maybe)
Left on page 28 and popping back in on 91!

Don't have time to read through all the pages so I'm hoping you are all keeping well.

So much has happened for me since being here. Met a new man a wee while ago and married him lol. Very part time which suits both of us perfectly.

Gave up slimming world for a while as my head wasn't in the right place. Rejoined again (and about half a stone heavier) but am now injured and on crutches so am finding it hard not to just sit and graze all day and exercise has gone out the window!

I will get there again. Heading home to N Ireland later this week for a long weekend and intend to just eat yummy food so will get back to it next week. Have signed up for 12 weeks again so need to do it. (Missed the last 2 weeks as I just wasn't in a fit state to go as I wasn't able to weightbear).

Happy to be back in the fold of this lovely thread again.
