I very rarely buy cooked meat.  I tend to cook a joint and then DH slices it on the slicer and it gets frozen in sensible amounts for either main meals or sandwiches/salads.  Much better taste and much better value than the packets.

Saw my neighbour getting their washing in so went and go mine in.  Apparently his wife had text him from town to say it was pouring down so get the washing in.  Glad I did as everything apart from 2 things was completely dry.  Has now been folded and I just need to put away which I'll do shortly.

    Hi everyone,

Well done on the STS @Jellybaby x
Annoying about the 2lb @bubbs and wow to the storm. Donuts look amazing as ever....

I lost 0.5lb at group this week. I'm not there this week as I'm visiting a friend in Lancashire - an ex-work colleague and the only one who I've kept in touch with. Really looking forward to hearing all the gossip, but expect prosecco will be involved.

Dinner tonight was 5% skinny meatballs from Aldi - they are 0.5 syn for 3 so very low. DH made a SW friendly tomato sauce and we had wholewheat spaghetti. Used my HEA for the parmesan. Lunch was leftover roasted veg from yesterday's roast (bns, carrot, aubergine, red onion and yellow pepper) with some ham, a nectarine and half a melon. I also ran home today.

    Have a good evening everyone,
    Coxy

    Evening all

Yes Denise i will let you know, how is dh's knee?

Well this morning was like an autumn morning with all the dew, but turned into a lovely day although it is raining now 🙄

I had my deliveries to do today and had that many orders i could not get them all in the car 😁

When i got home at lunchtime i whizzed a couple of lasagne up, 1 for tea, 1 for freezer and some of tonight's left for lunch tomorrow, i'll have with a bowl of salad. Picked the other orders up and dropped them off and picked DH up.

I buy loads of ham! I always get it on nectar price in Sainsburys as one of my offers so that's a little bonus.

    Food today

3 boiled eggs i took with me,

Pk  BBQ chicken 1.5 syns, watermelon

Lasagne and salad, garlic bread hexb

    Strawberries and ice cream

Morning all, it's horrible here this morning with the rain and it looks as though it's in for the day according to the forecast.  Unfortunately I need to go out as have to get some shopping but only going into the local town to Tesco and will need to walk up the High Street to the little computer shop to get some batteries (he does decent ones for half the price I can get them in Ts!).

DH isn't coming shopping today as his knee is really painful and he's had a bad night with it.  Such a shame as yesterday he said it felt really good and wasn't painful at all until late in the evening.  He's still got quite a bit of swelling but it is at least starting to go down at last.

    Today's plan:

B - toasted bacon and mushroom sandwich
L - seafood salad with crab sticks, prawns and smoked salmon
D - mini meatloaf with tomato glaze, mash, veg

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - LF spread 3; lolly 6

Picked our first courgette this morning which will be going into the meatloaf to help keep it moist.  DH wanted it fried in butter, LOL!  No way that's happening!!!!

    Have a good day everyone.

had a banana and yog for breakfast and HEb toast and jam (6) for lunch. Have a nectarine for a snack later and will have plenty of salad with the omelette. I’ll be having my HEa of cheese on the top
