joedenise said:I think you'll have to check in your book @Mrbowie to see what it says is average and then go from there. I don't think you can really use the cheese as your HEA because it will be a mixture of cheeses usually and not all cheeses class as HEA and also different cheeses are different amounts.0

Yes i don't know Denise but like i said my legs felt like lead yesterday morning, that chunk of cake was a few syns, i was saving for after weigh in should have had before 🤣
Weather is funny here , but forecast storms for later, we have had a heavy shower but sun out again, loads of helicopters going over because it's grand prix and we are not far from there.
I have had ham and cheese spread egg wraps.
Roast pork, veg and not sure if i am having yorkie yet , but will be 4 syns for gravySealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
Happy Sunday! We had that horrendous storm too @bubbs, the noise was incredible!
Raining just now but it is looking brighter so I hope to get out in the garden in a bit.I’ve been a bit MIA with life and other nonsense but, I have been on plan and kept syns for hidden bits I knew nothing of ie I had a tomato pasta out but I’m sure there would have been olive oil somewhere and I only had a wee bit of Parmesan but it might not have been a HE amount.
Back at it properly today.
HEa milk and Parmesan.
B To be decided
B melon and ham
L LO new pots, salad and chopped egg
D butternut and bacon orzoto with Parmesan and rocket on the side
syns might have HEb crackers and cheese or a meringue bar I’ll decide later.
I have also just batched a big pan of slimming eats oven baked pathia. We will have that tomorrow night with rice. It’s so much nicer if you make it a day ahead as all the spices really meld together. We will have some for the freezer too. It works out at 1 syn per portion.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.0 -
Will have to look that recipe up @Matron_Midge. Do like a bit of spice and to be able to oven bake something rather than standing over the hob is a win:win for me!
Just checked and it's not on her website. Looks like it's in her 2nd book which I haven't got. Any chance you could post the recipe please? I got her first book and actually wasn't that impressed so didn't bother with her 2nd one!

Thanks @Matron_Midge. I've copied and saved it to my laptop. Will give it a try sometime. Not sure if I've got a chicken curry on my menu plan this month but if not I'll add it to next month's plan! Once again thank you.

It's an awful day here too. We've had a few glimpses of the sun but in between the rain has been hopping off the ground and it's so cold and miserable. And it's July!!! 🤔☹
I'm glad I'm not at the Grand Prix @bubbs, not my thing and definitely not in this weather. Not much fun fr your DD at a campsite either @joedenise.
I don't blame you eating up the pizza @Mrbowie. This is a mse thread after all and wasting food isn't on, unless you can feed it to someone else. 🤣
I've made another batch of brown rice pouches for the freezer. They're so easy to just microwave alongside a ready meal and I used the last one with last night's keema.
We had a meeting with our builder and architect n Friday and it looks like about a month before they'll be knocking through the kitchen wall into the extension. They'll probably be able to fix up some temporary cooking facilities for some of the time but I want to have plenty of HM ready meals available as well. Aside from the expense of take always and eating out, like you said @Matron_Midge, there are always hidden syns when you haven't cooked something yourself.
I'm still in the top half of target range @joedenise, but that's on the GP's scales and weighing after lunch rather than first thing in the morning so I think I'm safe with SW.
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, bacon, egg (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
L- JP (F), prawns (P), salad (S)
D- Hairy Bikers steaks (P,S), Jersey Royals (F), many Speed veg (S)
Syns- LTL mayo 1, weekend wine😁0 -
Fortunately DD2 was planning on coming home today so expect that they left this morning if it was raining. Not much point hanging about when the weather is against you and you're planning on heading home anyway.
How long before you need to go to WI again @maman?
The heavy rain knocked some of the rainbow chard over so now it's stopped I've picked some which will be included in tonight's veg. I've only picked about half a dozen stalks so there's not loads but hopefully it'll be nice - not grown it for about 5 years but managed to get some small plants a while back in Dobbies when they had an offer on for 3 veg plans for a fiver so I got a butternut squash (which has actually turned out to be a courgette, LOL!); the chard and a sweet pepper (the long peppers which are much more expensive than the normal sweet peppers) which unfortunately isn't doing a lot apart from growing some more leaves!

Maman, i thought why wouldn't you want to be in grand prix i this? it's absolutely glorious here, but DH is watching it and said to me it's tipping it at Silverstone!!
