Maman , when i was saying my words to sell myself yesterday for diamond member, someone said when they saw my food on the page they thought great this is the "diet" i need as they ate alot too and it cheered them up seeing my pictures 😂 knowing you could eat all that food
Yes @bubbs, seeing your meals in pictures shows that you don't have to go without to be a healthy weight. You're an inspiration.

Aldi Essentials wholemeal bread is 2 slices for a HEB as well @joedenise, so plenty of choice for anyone who wants a sandwich or 2 lots of toast or whatever.

Morning all, quite dull this morning and very cloudy.  Supposed to stay dry but I'll believe it when I see it after yesterday!  Still at least the bedding is dry this morning!

@Mrbowie - if you go to group (can't remember if you said you do!) then you can use the barcode scanner or check in your book or on the website.  If you don't go to group then just ask on here and someone will be able to tell you.  If you say which SMs you have near you then I'm sure someone would be able to tell if you they're 800g wholemeal is HEB.

DH has an appointment with the consultant this afternoon so it's another trip to the hospital and annoyingly it's a late appointment so likely to hit the rush hour traffic on the way home.  His appointment has been brought forward by a month - I think the nurses who have been coming to see him have all been concerned that the swelling hasn't gone down at all in the 2 weeks since his op.  He's doing everything he's been told to do but just no reduction in size at all - he still can't get any shoes on!  The only thing he can wear is his slippers but at least they're moccasin style so don't look too bad when he goes out!

We'll be picking up a TGTG bag from Morrisons on the way home, after we've eaten.  With a bit of luck it will have a few things from my shopping list in it so won't need to buy so much when I go shopping tomorrow.

    Today's plan:

B - scrambled eggs and spinach on toast
    L - sweet chilli noodles
D - eating out - will probably have steak or gammon with salad

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - sweet chilli sauce 3; salad dressing 1

    Have a good day everyone.

Thank you @bubbs @maman and @joedenise I really appreciate the comments. I actually went swimming this morning, but I thought since I have a full days work to do (Sat down) I would do slightly fewer lengths as yesterday I felt drained all day, so I did 10 lengths and I still feel a bit tired. I also had the smoothie today, TBH I think I will eat the banana instead of putting it in the smoothie tomorrow to save on syns, I only put 70g of banana in so I make it roughly 10.5 syns to start the day. I do actually feel hungry now and it is 07:45, I am going to try and last until 10 then I will have an apple and some cheese, before lunch at 12:30/1:00 I will have my high syn bagel and light cream cheese and smoked salmon and butter - I will keep using the butter until it is used up - then I won't buy any more.
A high syn dinner will consist of Chicken kiev and chips and salad.

    Improvements I plan for today:-

    No garage snacks
    No Take out
    4 of 5 a day eaten before 8am - Check
    Been swimming - Check
Stick to 3X meals and one snack
    No Big bowl of cereal.

Have a good day peops 😊❤️🤩

@HotDog2020 - there is a bagel which you can have as HEB - it's the Warburton seeded thin bagel which is great with some cream cheese (I use Primula Light as it's HEA and you can have 70g which is about half a tube!) and smoked salmon.  I find I don't need to butter the bagel then.  You could also use the Dairylea light triangles rather than the Primula (I think you can have 3 as HEA).

We try to be on here.  I have been doing SW for more years than I care to remember although I stopped going to group at the beginning of the year but nothing has really changed since then!

Hi at the moment I'm not attending any groups trying to do it from the book I have from about 2 or 3 years ago. We have most supermarkets here but just wondered if asda do it as that's where I mostly shop. Thanks 😊

Morning all, a very wet and grey day here. Only upside is no washing!

Have to go out later to return a dress I bought at the weekend (it’s a bit snug) but other than that a bit of a pottering, tidying up type of day. I might go through the SW recipe books that’s taking up a whole cupboard in the kitchen! I can’t remember the last time I used them. Much prefer using the app or other healthy eating sites.

    Today’s food:
B - huge bowl of chopped fruit with Kvarg 0.5
L - Spanish omelette with pickles
    D - cheese, ham & chutney toastie HEXB & A, 1.5,  chips, huge salad, balsamic glaze 1.5

Using other A as milk in coffee throughout the day and syns in hand if I want anything else.

    Have a good day all!

    Hello all,

Many congratulations to you @bubbs for the Diamond Target Member award – richly deserved. I have never heard of this award in any of the many groups I’ve attended over the years. My current group has around 10 target members but it’s a fledgling group so not sure if that’s why we don’t run this award.

I went to group on Saturday – the earlier of the two had 50 members through as the later 9am group was pay and weigh only due to a fete at the church. I was on my own as my pay buddy was otherwise engaged. It was a bit challenging but good to see folk. I didn’t weigh. Have spent the weekend re-reading my books and the new magazine for inspiration. I started a food diary yesterday.

Will try again at lunchtime today to see if there’s another Lidl box I can snaffle. For context I bought a 150g pack of blueberries from Tesco yesterday for £1.59!

Since the wedding I’ve been having c.10 hot flushes per day and severe anxiety. Not sure if Mother Nature is sending a message “that’s it, your work is done” but wish I could stave off the meno symptoms! I understand a good diet and cutting back on caffeine helps, so will bear that in mind! I also ran 5k yesterday morning – felt a bit better after that! Will also run home from work today.

House viewings x 3 – all loved it but mentioned the 5th bedroom is small and the utility area is in the integral garage – both of which are on the details/floorplan! I mean if they hated the wallpaper or didn’t like the road itself fair enough. Hoping for more viewings in a block this coming Saturday.

@MrBowie – the yoghurt is from Aldi – four pack x

I too was shocked about the H’s LTL mayo going up in syns!

@bubbs – food for thought if your DH does go for VR. Can you model the figures on a spreadsheet and see where you might save money by him not working (fuel for instance) It’s not an easy decision to make xx

All the best to your DH @joedenise for the appointment later – let us know how he gets on x
