That's a really good menu @Mrbowie. You're definitely getting a handle on the Speed foods. 👍

I didn't Write my weight down from last week so I don't know if I have lost weight, I will start a new spread sheet now. Done. However I didn't really start anything much until yesterday and today. I started the smoothies today but accidently left the banana out, however I had a banana later in the day...I have had 4 of my five a day. I also went swimming yesterday and swimming today, Today I did 23 lengths of 25m long pool just over half a kilometer...which is an incredible start for me. I am afraid I didn't kick off the plan well but the goal is to improve with time, I do have a lot more enthusiasm to be successfull at SW then I did before the swimming. When I said I didn't do too well. Actually what I mean to say is, it was not a perfect day, but yes good because instead of a big bowl of cereal I had four of my five a day, This way I have done my exercise and hit my fruit/veg goals when the day has only just started.

I am not swimming every day, as today I felt absolutely done in all day, but eventually I would like to go everyday when I build up more staminer and strength. Also my sister is joining me for swimming in my local pool this week...actually I better had booked. Done.

Meals today (Remember not perfect that is the aim though, I want improvements only).

    Breakfast
7.5 syns as I ate my banana as opposed to smoothieing!
Lunch I had a meal out coronation chicken baguette with salad and cheesy chips, I know I had planned the jacket potato, but didn't fancy that, I could have had the coronation chicken with jacket potato which I should have had instead!
I had a small piece of lemon drizzle cake.
Dinner smoked salmon and light cream cheese on white bagel with butter. I have planned to have smoked salmon on wholemeal with no butter next week. I did really enjoy it though, I have the smoked salmon bagels all this week, I will use wholemeal bread next week and eventually reduce to 400g loaf slices.
I have an apple and cheese HeA as a snack tonight.

Like I said I am a work in progress, the only and vast improvement I have made today and hopefully the rest of the week, is I have not had a big bowl of cereal, which would have been through the roof amount of syns and not good for diabetes, although smoothie is not perfect, it is still an improvement and I really enjoy eating my five a day this way/ or drinking it.

I know all of you are hard core SWer's and todays diet/ meal plan doesn't really cut it, but if I can turn what is a drastic situation (24 stones) into something better I will be happy with that. I also want to note that I have done SW before and know how it works and smoothies are not the best..I also want to say that now that I am exactly 24 stones it is much different situation to being 15 stones and trying to lose weight as it is harder to feel full as you would need a lot of free food and SW hasn't cut it for me for some time, but I feel it is the best plan out there, however I want to keep the smoothie as it is likley the only fruit and veg I will have throughout the week although I will try and change this slowly incorporate more into my meals. I also have another aim for the week ahead that is to not buy garage snacks or take out.

Thanks Maman I feel like I'm eating more than I did on ww, which hopefully is the key. My ww days went like the 2 wholemeal toast with pb satsuma and strawberry.
1 slice wholemeal bread with lentil crisps yoghurt and fruit
    Halloumi salad ff chips pitta.
I just got a bit list.
So hopefully sw will work, I've found it harder to try and lise 7lb than I did almost 3 stone! I'll be happy at 9st 7lb.

    Evening all 😁

Bloody cold today 😂😂 yesterday was sweating, no 2 days the same!

I even popped tesco and bought veg for a roast as didn't want a salad, no point in me buying veg when it's hot as just too hot in here to eat a hot meal, so we enjoyed it today 😋

I had a soft pitta with LM sausage , egg and mushrooms in 1 syn sauce, watermelon

roast chicken, tonne of veg, 2 yorkies , 2 syns, gravy 4 syns.

Made 2 pork pies and just got ice cream on now 😋

Hotdog you are trying to make better choices so that is good, go at your own pace with changes

That's probably the best thing about SW @Mrbowie, you can eat loads provided you eat the right thing . People give up on most 'diets' because they're hungry. I think of SW as an easy formula to eat what's good for us (protein, carbs and fruit and veg with a limited amount of treats). Go for it! 👍

I'm sure you'll lose some weight @HotDog2020 because you're making changes and leaning towards SW. Perhaps you'll lean closer over time. I'm sure having more fruit and veg alongside free food to fill you up is the way to go.

@HotDog2020 - if you want to still use 800g wholemeal loaf you can get Morrisons own brand medium sliced or Nevilles 800g medium sliced from Tesco and have 2 slices as you HEB.

Personally I prefer the Morrisons bread; I wasn't keen on the Nevilles as sandwiches seemed to fall apart when you were eating them but it did OK as toast.
