You're doing really well to get straight back on plan after your holiday @Matron_Midge. 👍
I've had too much cheese today for HEA and planning to have wine syns with the football later. I am being good in between though. 🤣
Hope Joe got some good news with the nurse @joedenise. I suspect that the blood tests are checking for any infection/worrying inflammation. 🤔
It's been a glorious day here @Jellybaby plenty of 🌞to send your way.
I've been at target for 13 years in August. My consultant does praise me for it and likes to show me off IYSWIM but as I only turn up every 8 weeks I'm unlikely ever to be nominated. Someone like @bubbs inspires members week in, week out. 👍
Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, egg, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk and cheese
L- cold chicken (P), bubble and squeak (F, S), pickles (S)
D- spaghetti with meatballs in tomato sauce (P, S, F)
Syns - too many 😉

Thanks everyone regarding my nomination, tbh i didn't think i would be eligible as i dropped my target and not been there a year yet.
Jelly he is supposed to come every 4 weeks but it's usually 6, i am happy with that.

Maman how is your dh?
Been bloody hot here again today , shouldn't moan 😂 but i am 🤣🤣

Food looks delicious @bubbs. I'm fancying prawns now so got some out to defrost for my lunch tomorrow. 😋
DH is getting a little better each day and mostly pain free 👍. He went into town today, tired when he got back but I think that was partly because of heat. I was tired too and I'd been nowhere! 🤣0 -
I’m fancying the prawns too 😋. Good to hear both DHs seem to be on the mend.
I’m tired too but it’s nothing to do with heat 🤣 as expected the heavens opened just as I left for the airport last night. DS2 talked the hind legs off a donkey, obviously had a whale of a time. Good job he’s not back at work until Monday!I’m out at Pilates later, meeting an ex-colleague for a coffee then home to face the mountain of washing and work out next week’s meals ready for shopping day with parents tomorrow. Where does the time go?!
Today’s food:
B - fruit salad with Kvarg 0.5
L - veggie omelette, pickles
D - chilli with rice, side salad
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Morning all, another lovely day here but not forecast to be quite as hot as yesterday! Our living room is north facing and with doors and windows open it's been 22 or 23 indoors. Poor DH is really feeling cold though because of the blood thinners he's on at the moment (he's normally on tablets but after the op he's on injections for the first 2 weeks which are much stronger). There's me sitting in a t-shirt and melting and he's wearing one of his thick winter jumpers and complaining he's cold! But other than that he's doing OK.
The nurse came and took DH's blood OK and gave him a few tips on how to help reduce the swelling a bit more but apparently it can take up to 6 months to completely go down! They don't tell you these things before the op - it would be helpful to have known. He'll be having the clips taken out on Saturday and then an appointment with the consultant next week. This is earlier than expected as it was originally going to be 6 weeks so don't know whether he'll have to see him again then as well but no doubt we'll find out next week.
Sorry you've not had the nice weather @Jellybaby and that the heavens opened when you went to the airport to pick up your DS. Glad he had a lovely time.
Weighed this morning and it was another 0.8lb off this week so at least it's now going in the right direction! It definitely seems to be I need to have most if not all my syns each week because when I wasn't losing and at times actually gaining was when I wasn't having very many.
Today's plan:
B - overnight oats
L - stuffed peppers
D - chilli/rice
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - oats
Syns - not sure but may have a Caramel bar 6.5 and possibly a couple of G&Ts 6
Have a good day everyone.

Having all your syns always seems to suit you best @joedenise. Well done on your loss. 👍
I've never gone along with the SW advice for maintaining which IIRC is to have more HEXs. I find being good when I can works best for me. I'm sure SW wouldn't approve of tailoring the plan to fit a lifestyle but it works for me.
Glad to hear your DS2 had a good time despite the results @Jellybaby. I'm glad you're finding time flies away in retirement. Enjoy it! Sorting out your meal plan and the shopping list to go with it is excellent, very mse too. 👍
Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, bacon, egg (P), baked beans (F)
L- prawn salad (P, S)
D- keema curry and rice (P, S, F)
Syns - 00 -
Blimey it’s hot here.
Ive had a busy day and it’s not over yet but I thought I’d come on and put on my plan for today before I forget.
Hea milk and cheese
Heb ww wrap
B banana and kvarg (0.5)
L cottage cheese fruit salad (slices of apple, pomegranate seeds, grapes and kiwi with a tub of cottage cheese plonked on top) so nice and I’d never of thought of having it that way.
D enchiladas- made using 2 ww wraps and my cheese allowance (1 HEa, 1Heb and 5.5 syns)
I picked up some Halo top ice cream lollies in the supermarket (club card offer or far too expensive) and I’ll have one of those this evening watching a bit of telly. They are 4.5 syns so that makes it 10.5syns for the day.
Weigh in tomorrow and although I’ve stuck to plan, I don’t feel any different and nor is my uniform any looser. I have only had 4 days on plan though so I’m not expecting miracles.
Enjoy your evenings everyone.0 -

🤞 you'll have, at least, not gained tomorrow @Matron_Midge but sometimes holidays can take time to catch up. But you're back on plan and that will catch up too in the future.
I like an apple diced into a bowl of cottage cheese. It's more satisfying than just eating the fruit.
I made a few chips with the curry tonight. DH said he was missing them and the diet sheet said frylight is OK to use. 🤞he won't get any adverse effects. He's lost about a stone in just over 2 weeks. That includes the days when he was on liquids only in hospital. He says he'd like to lose another but I'm 100 % sure it wouldn't come off the places he'd like. 🤔🤣0
