welcome to the forum hotdog. You’ll soon find your way!
Done my first day back at work and suffice to say, I’m shattered. The heat in my room was intense as it has sun pouring through windows most of the morning. I had the blinds down and the window open but it didn’t seem to cool down at all. Heyho, it’s only a few days a year and it is a useful reminder that shifting some blubber would be cooler for me.
So far, I’ve stuck to plan
    Hea milk
    Heb soft pitta
B banana and 0% natural yog
L pitta stuffed with salad and ham, kiwi and kvarg yog (0.5)
D Tesco mango and lime chicken breast (1) jersey royal pots and huge salad with pickles and pomegranate seeds scattered on top. I might have a cheeky knob of butter on my spuds as I’ve no plan to use any other syns today
S babybel lights (other HEa) and grapes watching telly tonight and an early night as I’m back in at 7 in the morning.

@Bubbs, I’m going to give your pork pie a go at some point. It always looks so yummy and I think I’d really enjoy it with some mushy peas and mint sauce

Apologies forgot to say welcome onboard @HotDog2020! This is a great, supportive thread 😁

Yes @maman DS2 is home tomorrow and my peace will be shattered 🤣 despite the awful results he’s had a whale of a time.

I didn’t bother with lunch today as I wasn’t hungry and wanted to get the windows finished. I knew if I stopped I wouldn’t finish them. May have the salad in a bit as it’s still very warm and sticky.

Edited to add I’ve just seen the defrosted chicken curry tub on the worktop so will be having that after all 🙄🤣

We ended up having sweet and sour chicken tonight as that's what DH decided he'd prefer.  I don't mind at all as it's so much quicker and easier than a curry!

DD2 and her partner came over this afternoon on their way home from a long weekend away.  We don't live very far from where they store their caravan so makes it easy for them do do this without involving extra ULEZ charges - they live in the London ULEZ area so have to pay every time they move their car so they like to make the most of being away for the weekend!

Morning all, I could get used to these lovely sunny mornings.  It always makes me happy to see the sun!  More washing currently in the machine and I'll get that out on the line shortly.

Well done on your nomination for Diamond Member of the Year - agree with @maman it is well deserved.  You are a shining example of SW!  I won it twice at my old group and got nominated another time.  No chance of that happening again for me!

DH has another nurse coming sometime today to take more blood.  He certainly seems to be moving better although he's still a bit concerned about how swollen his leg is but I suspect it will take some time to go down, after all it's a lot of trauma to it during the operation.

Have a waxing appointment in town at 9.30 and will do some shopping while I'm down there.  Hopefully I'll be home before the nurse turns up otherwise she might have a bit of a wait on the doorstep until DH can get to the door!

    Today's plan:

    B - toasted cheese sandwich
    L - sweet chilli noodles
    D - corned beef hash

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread

Syns - sweet chilli sauce 3; corned beef 4; horseradish sauce 1

Have a good day everyone and enjoy the good weather.

Morning all, send us some sunshine please! I have warmth but it’s dull and very grey. Think thunder and heavy rain is forecast late afternoon/early evening, just in time for my airport run no doubt 😳😳

Well done on the nomination @bubbs! Very well deserved 🥰

My window cleaner charged £15 every four weeks @bubbs and I thought that expensive so decided to do them myself. I’m now reconsidering! But did inside and out yesterday and slept like a log 🤣

Today is pottering, a quick visit to the library and supermarket on way home to stock up on ‘essentials’ for DS.

    Today’s food:
    B - fruit salad, Kvarg 0.5
L - ham salad, pickles and beetroot, soft pitta HEXB
D - baked salmon, loads of roasted veg

    Have a good day everyone.
