Glad you enjoyed France @Matron_Midge. I haven’t been for 8 years as the special assistance at Marseille is so so poor.

    Evening everyone,

Sorry to hear of DH health issues @maman and @joedenise. Not sure if the knee op was NHS or private but I know from my work they get everyone in early in case of no shows. Probably not so prevalent in private hospitals.

Well yesterday was DS1s wedding and we had glorious weather. I really enjoyed every moment and not even SIL getting steaming drunk, throwing up behind the marquee and eventually falling over on the dance floor marred my day.

Could have done without DH looking for the loo at 2am and wandering into DILs mothers room!! She politely told him “you need to leave” which is better than I would have said! Tipping point? What tipping point?

DS1 and DIL now on mini-moon in Suffolk with their fur baby who was also ring bearer.

House being photographer on Monday and will test the market. DHs MH has been terrible this past week as reality bites. Something needs to change.

Oh and in SW-related news(!) my feet tell me I did lots of body magic last night - worse pain than JoGLE and that’s saying something. I shopped at Aldi earlier and have meal planned for the week. Dad back with us tomorrow and flies home on Wednesday so some normality will return!

Morning all, a beautiful bright sunny morning and forecast to stay like this for the next few days.

Glad the wedding went off well @Coxy11.  Had to laugh about your DH wanderings in the night!!!  Good luck with the house photography and with selling it.  Are you hoping to move to somewhere in the same area or moving completely away?

Wow to your friend's weight loss @bubbs.  That's a massive amount to lose!

    Today's plan:

    B - breakfast hash
L - sausage and mushroom sandwich
D - roast chicken, roast potatoes, roasted veg, green veg

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - sausages 2; LF spread 5

Have a good day everyone and hope the weather is as nice where you are as it is here.

Morning so glad the wedding went well and you enjoyed it coxy.
wow Bubbs, 11.5 in a week is the stuff dreams are made of.
Thanks for all the welcome home messages. I’ve planned and shopped until Thursday.
Ive had a tomato sandwich - nothing but salt and it’s one of my faves if I can get fragrant tomatoes. Even better from the greenhouse but I’ve not even got any flowers on yet.
Tea will be chilli con carne and rice with berries and yogurt for a pud.
@joedenise, you asked about the express book. The chicken and cashew dish last night was new to us and we enjoyed it - a good sub for a takeaway. It worked out at 3 syns plus HEb (or 9 if you’ve had a HEb). There are some decent recipes in it and they are all quick to make with good results. I prefer the slimming foodie books if I’m honest
Right off to do a bit in the garden whilst the chilli blips away. Back to work tomorrow so I’ll get my stuff ready in good time so I can have a relaxing evening.

Hi All, Can I join in please @beanielou ? Below is my meal plan for when I start next week, I will put starting weight on the day I first start, It will probably be a monday. I have prepared this meal plan with a lot of thought gone in for how it will work for me, I would be interested to hear what you think of it. I will be starting with untraditional smoothie, I feel if I start the day having got 4/5 Fruit veg out of the way it will be a winning start to anyday, I know blitzing fruit is going to add syns too - however the spinach is better for you when it is pulverised and the fruit will take the edge off the spinach, either way it is still a great start to the day, and I bet I get a buzz out of it and be full. I am going to partner this with swimming monday to Thursday, with friday and saturday off, potentially swim on Sunday afternoon (Long swim).

Next is Brunch/Lunch/Dunch I have called it these things as I am not sure when I will be hungry after the smoothie and the swim, I may have brunch if I get hungry quick, or lunch if I don't and I would be ever so hopeful if I didn't need dinner too. I know that protein will keep me fuller for longer, I have decided to have a late tradtional english breakfast for this time.

I know I can take the rind off the bacon, fry the egg in spray oil and I may just do that, I need some different sausages too, I am unsure what sausages I can have from sainsburys that will be free or very low syn and filling, I know there is lynda mccartney sausages but after a while I get fed up with these, I have picked Naked bacon and sausages as they are more friendly to your body then traditional type (less additives) and taste good.

Next dinner:- At this time of year I am keen to have salads free, potato salads (Made free) and lean meat also free.

Snacks:- Apple and HeA cheese free and 3X times per week I am allowing myself 25g chocolate 70% cocoa.

In total this is 25 syns my allowance - I already know what my allowance is as I have been my weight before and I have done SW before.

I know I should try and have less, however I need to start on the maximum before I cut down and see how I go, as all the times I try and lose weight previously I have felt too hungry - This plan may not work at all and all may flop by the first hurdle, But I know I must keep trying also I expect I will be tired after swimming 4 days per week where before I have done next to nothing, just housework on the odd day.

It will be interesting to see if it works this time. By the way I am not currently a member of SW, I have a friend joining soon and I may join her, however I haven't yet and I may not.

Welcome @HotDog2020 to the thread.  Everyone is welcome to join in if they are following SW.  Some go to group, some do it online and others just follow the plan.

You asked about sausages from Sainsbury and the lowest syn ones I believe are the Be Good To Yourself Cumberland at 1 syn each.  I'm sure someone will be along soon if that's not right!  I don't have access to the website or app anymore as I don't go to group now.

We don't usually put our actual weights on here, it's a private thing as it is in group.  We just say how much weight we have lost, gains or STS (stayed the same!) each WI day.

Personally I'd never waste that many syns on a smoothie but if you're happy to do so then that's OK.

Good luck on your weight loss journey.

Thank you for the sausage help, that is great I will get those next time. I won't put my weight just the loss or sts thanks for telling me. I knew that the smoothie wouldn't go down well in SW, but I am trying to do what I think is right for me as well as staying to plan as much as possible. Thank you.
