Morning all, it's lovely this morning - nice and bright although not overly warm.  Have done one machine load of washing and got that out on the line and now got the bedding in the machine.  Need to pop to Tesco later as forgot to get the pork for tomorrow's dinner - pulled pork in BBQ sauce.  There's usually enough LO to free some for rolls later although that of course depends on the size of the piece of pork I can get!

Our local pharmacy are doing a walk in clinic for Covid jabs so we're going to pop down there as well.  Might as well get as protected as we can - we've both managed to avoid it so far thankfully.

    Today's plan:

    B - toasted egg sandwich
    L - stuffed peppers
    D - cottage pie, veg

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
Syns - none planned but may have a G&T or 2 this evening.

    Have a good day everyone.

I've missed your food pics @bubbs - cottage sounds lovely and hope you have a great time.

Yes, one of the draws was that it's had the main work done @maman but still want to replace the kitchen as it's not been designed very well (in our opinion 🤣).  Hope the extension goes smoothly and well done on being back at target.

@Coxy11 I've been on a few interview panels like that over the last few weeks - one was so bad we actually asked the candidate to leave after less than 10 minutes.  I'd also like to move in with you, your food always sounds great while I'm sitting here thinking I don't want what I planned for lunch!

Hope your DH gets everything sorted soon @joedenise and good idea to get your jabs - I had covid again in April for the 3rd time and my boss has just come down with it again.  Alas is one of the risks you run when you work in a hospital and also having to use public transport.

Breakfast this morning was bran flakes with strawberries, no idea what I'm having for lunch, maybe a pasta salad, and dinner is a jacket potato because I don't have the energy to be making anything fancy.  Will probably have the classic combination of beans and cheese with some salad.

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

New house sounds fab @ruby_eskimo - keep us updated  :)
Ooh to the eye issues @joedenise, I hope the drops help x
Well done on your WI loss @maman, great news xx
Funny my menus always seem really 'samey' to me  :D

Only 2 candidates turned up for interview this morning. First one totally blew us away, so will offer to them and if they decline, will offer 2nd place. It was fun being part of an actual valuable piece of work for a change!!

IF film - we walked out after 45 minutes. Really bad script, accents, holes in the storyline etc. Told DH I'd rather be at home watching QT for the electioneering kick off! Luckily he didn't take much persuading.

We have food tasting at group tomorrow. Bit tricky at 7.30am - will probably take some prepared melon or strawberries.

I will try and read properly and catch up tomorrow, still very hit  and miss on plan, not helped by cafe giving us free scones to take home just before closing time.

@bubbs I hope that you will have a lovely holiday in October, I have known Ludlow rather well for the last 12+ years!!

Morning all, another lovely bright, dry day so have got the final load of washing done and out on the line.

My arm is really sore from the jab yesterday and feels very heavy, also didn't sleep well due to the pain as kept waking up.  Hopefully it'll ease off over the day and I can get a decent night's sleep tonight.

Good luck @bubbs and anyone else weighing today.

How's the build coming along @maman?  Hopefully not too much mess although there usually is plenty with building works.

    Today's plan:

B - fry up with sausages
L - burger, onions, wholemeal roll
D - beef and bean stew from freezer with pasta, will probably grate a bit of parmesan over the top.

    HEA - milk
    HEB - WM roll
    Syns - sausages 2; burger 0.5

    Have a god day everyone.

I forgot it was taster in group 🙈 managed to run out and buy some grapes and strawberries.  And lost two pounds which I’m happy with.

This week is going to be difficult as DS1 leaves to work abroad again and there’s meals out, catching up with family and friends but I’m determined to plan as much as I can.

Just about to have fruit salad and f/f yoghurt for breakfast and going to a friend’s BBQ this afternoon so hoping for chicken and salad - and the forecast rain to stay away!  I’m driving so still no alcohol.

Two loads of washing to hang out and a quick clean round so plenty body magic 😁

Well done on your loss @Jellybaby.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 You'll just have to do your best this week but should be plenty of occasions when you're not eating out.

It's a bit like living on a building site here at the moment @joedenise. The back of the house is a mess with the digger and dumper truck, there's a portaloo (nicknamed the turdis 😁) on the drive and a skip in front. Other than that we're fine.🤣 All quiet until Tuesday when they return to work.

I didn't get to post yesterday but did choose wisely when eating out except that I ate the flatbread with my meze starter which I'd have skipped if I wasn't at target. Other than that all meals have been on plan. I called into the surgery yesterday and was 2lbs heavier than Thursday but I think that's because of the difference in machines not that I'd gained overnight. It's a good guide though.

We're having lamb today and I won't be cutting off all the fat because I like the taste. Tomorrow we're at Wembley so no idea what we'll eat after an on plan breakfast.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, scrambled eggs, ham (P), tomatoes (S)
    L- JP (F), tuna (P), salad (S)
    D- lamb hotpot (P,S,F), cabbages (S)
Syns- LTL mayo 1, lamb fat? weekend wine😊

Morning all, we had the forecast rain overnight and it's still a bit grey this morning but at least I don't have any washing to do - well there is some but not enough for a load!

I ended up going to bed yesterday afternoon as I felt quite unwell and extremely tired and slept for 2.5 hours so must have needed it as still slept all night too, apart from getting up at 4.30 to go to the loo!  Arm is definitely feeling a bit better this morning but still sore and not able to lie on it in bed but I'm sure it'll ease up over time.

@Jellybaby - think it's going to be a Good when you Can and Careful when you Can't sort of week for you this week.  Just enjoy and SW can sit on the back burner for a week.  Just draw the line once it's over.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up
    L - BLT
D - pulled pork - not sure what to have with it - will make a decision at some point during the day!

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - LF spread 3,  maybe a G&T or 2 tonight.

    Have a good day everyone.
