Morning all, looking a bit cloudy again but supposed to be brightening up later same as yesterday.
Feeling a bit better this morning thankfully but a bit achy so used the Tens machine on my shoulder and neck which has certainly helped a bit.
Well done on winning the football and then avoiding the wine syns @maman! That's a win in itself!
Today's plan:
B - fry up with sausages
L - tuna mayo and cucumber sandwich
D - roast chicken dinner with plenty of veg
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - mayo 0.5; sausages 2
Have a good day everyone.

Meant to say yesterday @Coxy11 hope your SIL made the bridal shower and she gets treatment quickly.
Quite grey and dull this morning, fingers crossed it grows into another beautiful day like yesterday!Really enjoying being back on plan 100% and my tummy definitely appreciates it too. Helping my elderly aunt try and tame her garden for a few hours later so plenty body magic.Today’s food:
B - huge bowl of chopped fruit, vanilla Kvarg 0.5
L - chicken salad sandwich HEXB with pickles, apple and plums
D - mince with onions and carrots, potatoes, peas (Bovril cubes for the gravy so free)
Maybe syn a couple of hifi bars if I want something after dinner.0 -
Morning all, lovely and sunny here. DH and I need to visit the local mall for wedding shirt (him) and wedding makeup (me) later.
We had a food delivery yesterday so are planning to roast a chicken later. With the weather being so unpredictable it'll probably be too hot but heyho.
The bridal shower was lovely. SIL was there - we didn't discuss her health - she's still smoking...... It was lovely to meet the wider family and DIL2Bs mum and sister had laid on a lovely spread. Enough scones and prosecco to sink a battleship. I had a day off of plan yesterday - didn't go overboard but also didn't bother to count. Not everyday your son gets married.
Glad you're feeling better @joedenise x
Congratulations on the football and wine wins @maman!
We were limited to one box of the new bars @Jellybaby - I didn't get any this week as have some PB ones still and only eat one a week at group.
Lol @bubbs I was only joking about you being the 'leak' didn't mean to offend.... Apparently there was an emergency zoom live meeting for consultants on Friday night but mine wasn't able to make it. She had a crib sheet to read out. 15 recipes and you get the booklet with each delivery giving you them all. Think it's a bit pointless as the whole reason SW is a way of life rather than a quick fix, is the fact that you shop for, prep and cook from scratch. The Iceland meals already tick the box for those folk who have hectic lives, can't/won't cook, or who have limited cooking facilities. I can't see it being all that successful, especially if it's £5/head!

It's bright and sunny here . Rain seems to be forecast every day lately but none materialised yesterday and 🤞🏼 none today as yet. I decided to do a machine load although not essential. We don't have builders at the weekend so it seemed easier to not have to dodge the diggers on the way to the washing line. 😁
Pleased to hear that the bridal shower went well @Coxy11. How long to go before the wedding? 🤔
I portioned up the keema for the freezer and kept some out for my lunch. I've got heaps of syns left for today and until Wednesday so won't need to worry if some pork crackling slips into my mouth later!🤣
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, scrambled eggs, ham (P), tomatoes (S)
L- JP (F), keema curry (P,S), salad bits (S)
D- JO roast pork (P), SW roast potatoes (F), many Speed veg (S)
Syns- HM gravy 4, weekend wine😊0 -
Change of plan! We went to the garden centre and ended up with coffee and cake so didn't need any lunch. I'll count the coffee as my 2nd HEA - probably need to syn the cake at 30 syns even though it wasn't that big! Need to try and keep as low syn as possible until WI on Wednesday morning if I've any chance of a loss!
Have decided just to have chicken salad rather than a roast this evening with it being so warm.
Enjoy your crackling tonight @maman! Have to admit I usually great myself to a small piece when we have roast pork!0 -
Morning all, it’s very dull here but forecast to brighten up into a warm day. No washing today hurray🎉
Waiting on a parcel being delivered so planning a few jobs to get done around the house while I have my coffee.
Today’s food:
B - sweet omelette with banana, strawberries, Kvarg 0.5
L - tomato and red pepper soup, apple and plums
D - chilli with rice
This leave HEXB and an A if I want anything else in the evening.
Have a good day everyone!0 -
Morning all, it's fairly bright this morning so hopefully it will be another nice day where we can sit out in the garden. Machine load of washing done and out on the line.
Need to sort out a shopping list for tomorrow as definitely going to need eggs, bread and milk but not sure what else, probably some more salad stuff but need to check the fridge.
Today's plan:
B - cheese omelette
L - chicken salad sandwich
D - steak, chips, onions, beans
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - LTL mayo 1
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Hi all,
We had the roast chicken yesterday with sweetheart cabbage, broccoli and roasties. I ruined it all by having some wine though.... Need to get a grip. Seriously.
Today I bought in:
B - blueberry wheats, blueberries, mullerlight - HEB, S, 0.5
L - sweet potato and chickpea curry (no rice), grapes, strawberries, cheese portion - S/F, HEA
D - easy chicken curry with rice - free
Hmmm two curries in a day - not great planning! I am running home again this evening - DH will stop by and collect my bags so I can run freely without a small backpack.

It's been a glorious day here, hot and sunny. 😎 No builders though as the bricklayer is unwell. 🤞for tomorrow.
Is that the Musclefoods steak @joedenise? Is it good? 🤔
You'd probably have been able to rein back on the wine through the week @Coxy11 except for the off plan Saturday. Still, as you said, it's not every day your son gets married. Just keep trying to be good when you can. 😊
We had salmon tonight. I picked it up in Iceland but it wasn't on the app. I put it through the syns estimator and it came out as 2. No marinade just plain salmon. Fortunately I've got plenty of syns to spare but you have to be so careful.
Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, bacon, egg (P), baked beans (F)
L- cold pork (P), potato (F), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- salmon (P), SW chips (F), mediterranean vegetables and runner beans (S)
Syns - salmon 2

The sun is back 😎 and I have two loads of bedding ready to go on the line.
The building work must be coming along nicely @maman and at least it’s decent weather with all the coming and going.
There’s a new M&S food shop opened about twenty miles away and my friend reports ‘it’s foodie heaven’ so planning a wee visit this afternoon. It’s based on the edge of a small retail park so has another couple of stores I need to visit so killing two birds and all that.
Today’s food:
B - toast HEXB with boiled eggs
L - lentil soup (last portion from the freezer), last apple and few plums
D - gammon steaks, SW cowboy beans (currently in slow cooker), broccoli, carrots, cauliflower
Have a smashing day all!0
