Morning all, it's a lovely bright morning at the moment but likely to cloud over later but at least no rain is forecast.  Looking like tomorrow is similar so will leave the washing until then!

Thank you both for the syn values for the doner meat - Looks like I'll be over syns today depending on how much meat I have.  Think I'll try and put most of it in DH's pitta bread!  Having said that if I only cook half the packet then it will only be 125g between us so that will definitely reduce the syns and can pack plenty of salad in!  Sounds like a plan!

    So today's plan:

B - bacon, bubble and squeak cakes (made from LO veg at the weekend and frozen), beans
L - soft pitta, doner kebab meat, salad
    D - mushroom stroganoff, rice

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - Primula Light
    HEB - soft pitta
    Syns - 50g doner meat 8!

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning,

DH dropped me at work again today. He is meeting his pals for a coffee and plans to work in the garden as it’s a decent day. He has also signed on today – might as well get his stamp paid whilst he’s job hunting.

My reckless food day turned even worse last night with the scoffing of crisps whilst watching TV. Total self-sabotage and I am drawing a line. DH will come at home time to take my bags and I will run home. Need to reset my MH as this week at work has been dire. I have nowt to do and all around me the team are losing their !!!!!!. I have trained on the patient system and have offered to help, even just answering the phone – keep getting told No. Just ridiculous to have me sitting here doing nothing and getting paid for it.

    Today’s food:

    B – blueberry wheats, blueberries, mullerlight – HEB, S, 0.5

L – BNS curry (no rice), melon, cheese portion – S, HEA

    D – chicken fajita bowl, banana – S/Free

I’m weighing in tomorrow and will no doubt need to do the walk of shame back to Pay. It’s DIL2B’s bridal shower in the afternoon. Don’t know what the food will be – have offered to help but was told not needed, so will take a bottle as DH dropping me and DD there. SIL planning to attend so will see how she is.

Have organised a food delivery for tomorrow afternoon to save DH having to go it alone and pick up goodies. Now fancying kebab meat, but not at those syns!

Well done on your loss @Matron_Midge.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 It may be a small one but it's going in the right direction, coming off. 👍🏼

That's so frustrating for you @Coxy11.🤗 Sitting around doing nothing goes against the grain especially when there's so much to do all around you plus  so much going on with family. Hopefully when you return to group tomorrow it will help you to reset and you can. at least, be in control of SW and running as it'll help with the sense of achievement.

I do hope this kebab meat is worth it @joedenise. Good idea to fill up the pitta with salad. 👍🏼

You reminded me that I've still got Ben's Sweet and Sour in the cupboard @bubbs. Fortunately I bought mine ages ago on offer but you rarely see the reduced sugar variety reduced these days. I must put it on a menu soon.

I've really missed my LO veg this week. Last night was the first time I haven't had to rush out since the weekend so had time to cook a meat and two (or more😉) veg meal this week. That's left me plenty for lunch today and probably tomorrow.

No idea what's happening with syns today. We have football tonight which may/may not be the last game of the season depending on whether we manage to win. So unlikely to have wine syns but there is an outside chance  there's something to celebrate. 🤔🤣

    Today's plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
    L- ham, egg (P), bubble & squeak (F,S), pickles (S)
    D- keema curry (P,S,F), brown rice (F)
Syns- half Crunchie 3 plus ????🤔

Have to say the doner meat definitely wasn't worth the syns!  It was so spicy but glad I weighed my 50g and let DH have the rest of it!  I had plenty of salad in mine, as did he.  At least it's gone now so won't be wasting that many syns again on it!  Next time I'll make my own with the 10% lamb mince but haven't got any at the moment.

That's really frustrating @Coxy11.  Nothing worse than sitting around all day doing nothing.  When I had days like that I used to find the time really dragged and I also seemed to be much more tired.

Hope the football is good for you tonight @maman.  What will you have to celebrate if not wine!

Glad to hear the doner kebab meat is gone for ever @joedenise. 🤣

It'll be wine if we win although
not much as I can't see us being home until quite late.

Two good pieces of news. I weighed at the surgery (can just walk in and use their super duper machine) and put on less than a pound and still in range. Considering it's after a porridge breakfast and lunch when I normally weigh after just 2 Weetabix, I'm pleased with that.

Also, saw LTL mayo in Aldi for the first time, so bought 3 and syn free cottage cheese was back in stock. 👍🏻

Well done on putting on less than a pound and you're still in range @maman.  That's really good after eating 2 meals, like you I usually weigh after breakfast as that's what I did when I went to group.

Enjoy your wine if you do win - I'm sure you will!

I need to start looking for more LTL mayo as now on my last bottle.  I like to keep a couple in stock but like you not seen any recently.  Glad you also got the syn free cottage cheese.

Thanks @bubbs.  I'll have a look next week as I need to go to Lidl and the Food Warehouse which are both in the next town.
