Welcome @lilian1977.😊 I think the thing about mashed banana is something to do with energy/calories used to consume compared with eating fruit whole but agree there's a lot of smoke and mirrors with SW.🤣

I didn't get to post yesterday but stayed on plan and, by my rough calculations of the sandwiches I had on Sunday, I have about 5 syns left over this week. I'll check out my weight at the GP on Friday but provided I can stay in range until next WI ( in a couple of weeks time) I'll be happy.

I try not to have to pay too. While I don't want to waste money obviously, it's more because I'm determined to stay at target as much as I can. I do make an exception for holidays though (generally put on half a stone or more😉) and then I'll pay if I have to. SW haven't made much money out of me over the years. I reckon it cost me about £250 to get to target and if someone had told me at the beginning that's what it would cost to not be fat I'd have bitten their hand off. 😀

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, eggs, bacon (P), baked beans, HEA1 milk for drinks
    L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), salad (S)
D- meatballs in tomato sauce (P,S,F), spaghetti (F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- 0

Morning all, supposed to be dry today so I did 2 machine loads of washing and hung out on the line first thing this morning.  Just back from the dentist and had an absolute downpour!!!  Just hoping that it will dry out again later.  Will leave it for a few hours and then get it back in.  Suspect it will need to go on the airer - really annoying but it is what it is.

Welcome @lilian1977.  I've stopped going to SW as well but the main reason for that was because I've had 2 All Inclusive holidays this year and have gone out of target range and begrudge paying so am going it alone.  Not very successfully at the moment!  We were away at the weekend and it was WI day today and I've put on 1.5lb so now even further away from target than I was.  No plans to go away this weekend as the forecast isn't very good so at least I'll have half a chance of losing something this week coming!

That's weird about the Meatless mince @maddiemay where the frozen stuff is Free but the fresh isn't!  Yet another quirk of SW!

    Today's plan:

B - overnight oats with strawberries, blueberries and cherries
    L - fajitas
D - white chicken chilli (currently cooking in the Slow Cooker)

    HEA - milk
    HEB - oats
    Syns - WM wrap 8.5

    Have a good day everyone.

I've managed to pick my way through the building site and put washing out @joedenise. Ideally I'd have left it to the weekend but weather isn't looking good. ☹️

Bad news is that I bought Sainsburys cottage cheese this week as out of stock in Aldi and just realised it has syns! 😪 So syn bank is overdrawn this week. I won't make that mistake again.

Welcome @lilian1977 good to have you with us  :)

I succumbed to my (very small) banana at 11.30am as my breakfast clearly didn't fill me up! Bought a punnet of strawberries at lunchtime and am now scoffing those. Some of them are huge mutants!

Annoying about the washing @joedenise! and the cottage cheese @maman!

I've left the washing out as it's brightened up considerably this afternoon and looking out the window I think it's virtually dry so will go out and check shortly.  Anything which is damp can go on the airer overnight to finish off.

That's really annoying about the cottage cheese @maman.  I really don't understand how different brands can be so different in syns - there's just no rhyme nor reason.

Edited to say:  washing all dry, folded and put away!

Welcome to the group Lillian. I’m roughly a stone and a bit from target and seem to be going round in circles the last wee while, even with going to group!

Hope everyone else is well, I’ve still to read back. Been away unexpectedly this week. A close fried got some bad health news so I’ve been staying with her for a few days. Food (and wine) was not on plan but that and the lovely walks on the beach were very much needed.

Home today and the plan is tomato and red pepper soup for lunch, there’s plenty of fruit if I want to nibble and chicken stir fry with noodles for dinner. Line drawn and see if I can reduce some damage before WI on Saturday.

Morning all, weather is horrible this morning.  Rain, rain and more rain!  Still at least I got the washing done yesterday so not much in the washing basket to do!  Trouble is it never stays empty for long, does it?

Was up late this morning even though I was to bed a bit earlier than usual as not feeling well.  I've had a cough and cold for about a week now and it doesn't seem to be clearing very quickly.  The cough isn't so bad but the snuffly and blocked nose is driving me mad.  I'm sure I'll be back to normal in a few days.

    Today's plan:

B - scrambled eggs and spinach on toast
L - Nicoise salad (will add some avocado to it which needs using up!)
D - meatballs in tomato sauce, pasta

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - honey and mustard in dressing 0.5; avocado 5 (if there's 50g of usable left!)

    Have a good day everyone.
