    No @TakeItEazy, syn free. 😁

Will post later as no idea if there'll be anything SW friendly at the dance this afternoon. I won't be hungry but it's difficult to sit with others and have nothing but a cup of tea. 🤔

Afternoon all, what a lovely weekend it's been and the sun is still shining.  Even managed to get a machine load of washing done, hung out, dried folded and put away since we got back just before lunch.

Good to see you posting again @TakeItEazy; timing isn't the best but your DH's health has to come first.

STS is OK @Jellybaby but it does get you down a bit when you know you've had a good week.  Sure you'll shift something this week.  It is quite possible you haven't been having enough syns especially if you've cut out the booze - think I probably need to do that for a while!  Definitely had a few too many drinks at the weekend!!!

Well done @Coxy11 being only lb out of target range.  You'll soon shift that and get back into range.  Wish I was only lb out of range!  I'm really struggling at the moment after the AI holiday but I'll get there same as always.  I've got a good plan for this week so hopefully I can shift a bit although I'm pretty sure I've put on over the weekend!

Great bargains again @bubbs.  Don't know how you manage it!  I never seem to see anything worth bothering with which is one of the reasons I use Too Good To Go.  Picked up a bag this afternoon - not as good as the last couple but still OKish and can make use of it.  There's a loaf of white bread so DH has asked for a bread pudding which I'm going to do shortly.  Once made it will be portioned and frozen so he doesn't end up eating it all in a couple of days!

    Today has been on plan!

B - fry up with bacon
L - burger, onions, soft pitta, gherkin slices (Muscle Foods burger - nice flavour but fattier than butchers I usually buy)
D - gammon, potatoes, carrots, onions, green veg

    HEA - milk
    HEB - soft pitta
Syns - burger 1 (my usually ones are only 0.5!)

Hope everyone is enjoying the lovely weather.  Doesn't look like it's going to be staying like it much longer though.

Glad you had a good weekend @joedenise. The weather couldn't have been better. It got to 28 degrees here. ❤️🌞😎

Loads of Body Magic at the dance this afternoon. I ate 3 sandwiches {quarter size) and loads of melon slices. I'm counting 15 syns and moving on. 😁

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
    L- JP (F), tuna (P), salad (S)
    D- chicken jambalaya (P, S, F)
Syns - LTL mayo 1, weekend wine and sandwiches

Morning all, not as bright or warm this morning although the forecast is for dry weather today but think that's it for a few days.  Glad I managed to get all the washing done but no doubt the basket will be full again by the time we get another dry day!

I think you do quite well at the dancing yesterday @maman with just 3 quarter sandwiches plus loads of melon.

    Today's plan:

    B - cheese omelette
    L - egg salad
D - LO gammon, SW wedges, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
HEB - none planned but if I fancy something this evening could have some Marmite on toast!
    Syns - none planned

I got a load of carrots in my TGTG bag yesterday has anyone got any great ideas for using some of them up please other than soups!  I will be grating some to have with salads and making coleslaw.   Will be par boiling and freezing ready to use for roasting with dinners but could definitely do with some more ideas.  Doesn't help I haven't got a load of space in the freezer!

    Have a good day everyone.

Gorgeous weather is gone from here already @Matron_Midge. ☹️ It's still warmish but grey and overcast and trying hard to rain.

Can't help shift many of your carrots @joedenise but I do make a few carrot chips alongside the normal ones to help bump up the Speed.

Not having a roast yesterday meant I missed out on the LOs for lunch today. I'll describe what I had as a rice salad using the savoury vegetable rice from the jambalaya along with some ham and salad bits.

    Today's plan-
B - HEB porridge, HEA milk for drinks, berries (S), banana (F)
    L- rice salad (P, S, F)
D- haddock (P), hassleback potatoes (F), mushrooms, tomatoes and green stuff (S)
    Syns - 0

I managed to offload a few carrots to my friend down the road!  I even took a small one down for her dogs as they love them!  I've no doubt they'll end up with some of the others as well!

I've grated loads of carrot and got them in the freezer.  I normally use grated butternut squash in my butter chicken sauce but hoping that carrot will be a good substitute (it's only used for sweetness plus upping the Speed of course!).

Still got half of them left but will see how it goes!  They'll last a while in the fridge so no rush for a while.

    Hi all,

Warm and still a little sunny here but due rain tomorrow morning. I will take running gear into work in the hope it will be a cooler run home.

Dinner tonight was cous cous in veg stock, mixed leaves, chickpeas, hot smoked salmon, plum tomatoes, spring onions, crumbled feta with a natural yog/lemon juice/dill dressing. Was lush. Got the recipe from an old SW mag which used ribbons of courgette (couldn't cope with that so used mixed leaves), plus I added the feta and chickpeas. Really nice and light plus interesting textures and taste.

DH got home from the stag weekend at 1am and didn't rouse until 1pm. He clearly cannot party like the 25 year olds lol.

Pleased that I resisted the urge for a KitKat at the 3pm dip - more due to cost (£1.05 in our canteen) rather than halo polishing.
