Morning all, the rain has arrived and it definitely feels cooler this morning. Got woken up about 6am with the heavy rain but did manage to get back to sleep once it stopped! So running a bit later than planned this morning. Would normally have had breakfast by now but think that's likely to be another half hour or so before we eat. At least with being retired we don't have to worry about getting out on time to go to work! Definitely need to go shopping today as have completely run out of fruit! Need a few other bits as well. Going to give Asda a try today as we have £20 worth of vouchers to use so might as make use of them to save some of the money in the account!
Well done on resting the urge for a KitKat yesterday @Coxy11 - think you can still call it halo polishing as you resisted it (doesn't matter that it was because it was expensive in the canteen!). I gave in to a mini whip bar last night - really fancied chocolate but wanted to save some syns after using so many at the weekend! So just 1.5 for that.
Today's plan (which is a change from what I had originally planned due to the carrot issue!):
B - toasted gammon and cheese sandwich
L - spicy carrot and lentil soup
D - jacket potato, beans, salad
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - none planned but may have a slice of bread with the soup for 3.5.
I had planned a SC white chicken chilli for tonight but haven't got any chicken breasts in the freezer so need to buy some so that will move to tomorrow night. It's a new to me recipe - was looking for something to use up some of the chillies I got in the TGTG bag - 2 bags of them; Have frozen one bag and may well end up freezing the rest of this bag once I've made the chilli tomorrow. As it uses dried beans in the recipe it needs to be cooked on Low rather than High to make sure they're cooked which is why I'm going to leave it until tomorrow.
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Definitely cooler here today. Running gear will be deployed later - looking forward to it - yes I recognise that sounds odd!
Food today is:
B - Fruit and Fibre, blueberries and mullerlight - HEB, S, 0.5
L - Sweet potato curry, grapes, banana, cheese portion - free/S, HEA
D - Chilli con carne - free/S
Have a good day all,
Coxy

Change of plan! DH fancied sweet potato jackets so that's what we'll be having. Need to find something for dinner later.0

Another one just sneaking in. I think I probably gained about 2.1/2 lbs, not WI tonight or maybe next week, I really don"t want to pay anymore money if I can help it, fairly skint after 3 weeks away, lots of yum food, but trying to get back on plan now.

Good morning everyone
Please can I join you? I don't want to pay for group or online as I know most things from previous memberships, and don't really eat a huge amount of processed food that I would need to scan, but it's nice to have a community to report to!
For breakfast, I made these; https://www.everynookandcranny.net/oat-pancakes-syn-free/
I don't agree with synning bananas if they're blended, nonsense as far as I'm concerned. I would have had a sliced banana on a normal pancake.
Snacks this morning have been raspberries and an apple and I have been on a 3k walk.
Lunch is pasta with loads of veg and Meatless Farm mince (does anyone know the syns in this? Got a pack out of the freezer before I decided to restart SW!)
Dinner will be a big salad.
