Good to see you back @joedenise. I'm sure you had a good time. Like you, I usually expect half a stone after my Turkish holiday so 5lbs is a bit of a bonus. 😁
We're having some YS coronation chicken escalopes tonight. I hope they'll be worth the 2.5 syns in the marinade.
Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, scrambled eggs (P), tomatoes (S)
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), salad (S)
D- chicken (P), SW chips, carrots, mushrooms, green stuff (S)
Syns - chicken 2.5, weekend wine 😊1 -

It's a bit dull here, sun is rarely showing it's face but at least it's not raining(ETA - Now pouring down! ☹️) It's meant to get better though, 20 degrees by next weekend! 😎
Last night's YS chicken was very tasty.
Tesco Coronation Chicken Escalopes 357g - Tesco Groceries
I'm sure I could make much the same myself with some yogurt and curry powder and save 2.5 syns so I'll give it a try.
While the oven's on today, I'm going to make another batch of meatballs as I used the last from the freezer this week. My basil plants (re-potted from supermarket) are looking great too so plenty for sauce.
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, kippers (P)
L- Spanish omelette (P,S,F), leaves and pickles (S)
D- roast chicken (P), SW roast potatoes (F), many Speed vegetables (S)
Syns- kippers 1.5, HM gravy 4, weekend wine😊0 -
Afternoon all, it's been an absolutely beautiful day today and I've spent quite a lot of time in the garden - mainly hanging out the washing first thing! Another 3 loads today so now it's all done but no doubt the washing basket will be full again by mid week! DH and I were sitting in the garden with a coffee around 9.30 this morning. Hope you've had some good weather since this morning @maman.
We've also been out on the scooter over to DD1s just before lunch but only stayed about an hour as they were going out for lunch with her partner's parents. We spent the time in their garden as well.
Back out in the garden this afternoon; DH has planted some Turkish aubergine seeds which we bought home with us - can't believe how many seeds there are in a packet - they'll last us years as they're so tiny!
All washing has dried and put away. Forecast is also looking for for the rest of the week. We're going away again, in the motorhome this time with DD2 and her partner (they have a caravan) from Thursday until Sunday as it's DH's birthday.
I've done a Musclefood order this morning which is coming on Wednesday which will fill the freezers up as it's looking a bit sparse at the moment! Still trying to do the menu plan for this month and struggling a bit but I've managed to do the first couple of weeks so that will do for now!
Today's plan:
B - fry up - bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans
L - LF burger, WM pitta, onions, gherkins
D - roast pork, roast potatoes and carrots, green veg
HEA - milk
HEB - WM pitta
Syns - butter 1.5; LF burger 2; 0% gin 0.5

I’ve had everyone’s rain today 🤣 still warm though at 17 degrees. Good you had a great time away @joedenise
Got a maintain yesterday at WI. Was a bit disappointed but been here so many times I know I just need to keep plodding! Out for lunch today and chose a baked potato with tuna. Some syns for mayo but think I picked the best option. Was driving so no wine or cocktails either 😇
Hope everyone’s enjoying the bank holiday.0 -
It's infuriating when you know you've had a good week but it doesn't show on the scales @Jellybaby. But I'm convinced that all good weeks show up eventually. 🤞for next week.
Good idea to go away next weekend @joedenise. Nothing like another break to see off post holiday blues. It's good to have something to look forward to.
0% gin makes a change. 🤣 I like the Turkish local gin but it's not cheap any more as Erdoğan has put huge duty on alcohol. ☹️0 -
Evening all 😁
Welcome back Denise glad you had a good holiday
Well i had a gain 1.5 yesterday, dunno why 😏don't make sense half the time but hey ho still in target!
Been glorious here last 2 days, i have done 5 loads of washing 🤣bedding, towels and clothes and the whole lot is dry , just bedding to iron.
Food today pitta, hexb, ham and beetroot, seafood sticks, tomato and 2 small pears.
Roast chicken, carrots, beans, cauli, mashed swede, air fryed parsnips, 2 roasties, gravy 4 syns 😋😋😋Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -

Decided we need to cut back the alcohol after the amount we indulged in on holiday!!! I was quite happy to drink the local gin too.
@Jellybaby - STS is better than a gain especially when you've had a good week. No doubt it will show up on the scales next week.
Shame about the gain @bubbs but it's how it goes sometimes isn't it? Great that you're still in target range though.0 -
Glad to hear you've had good weather @bubbs but ironing bedding!! Why??? 🤣
No idea why you had a gain. Can't think of anything you posted eating to explain that. 🤔 I've often said that SW would like everything to fit neatly into a weekly pattern but bodies don't seem to work like that. You're in target, that's what mattters. 👍🏻0 -
Yes and i had a cracking loss last week so not all bad 😁
I always iron bedding and tea towels , hate getting in a clean bed with creased bedding 🤣 and i like my tea towels in nice squares 🤣Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0
