Oh my, chicken skewers will be on the menu next week! They look amazing.

Dreich day here but I need to pop out for more fruit 😳 and a few bits and pieces. Have decided to change shopping day from Saturday to a Thursday - but have still to tell the parents 😇. I check in on them every couple of days, phone every night and at weekends I’m there both mornings which can run into early afternoon. I’d just like one day of the weekend to myself. Hope that doesn’t seem too me, me, me!

    Today’s food:
B - bacon medallions, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans, soft pitta HEXB
L - baked potato, beans, pickles
D - mince with onion and carrots, potatoes, peas, broccoli

    Have a good day everyone!

Not at all @Jellybaby, you're retired so you should be having Me time. Saturday really isn't the best time for food shopping. It's  much quieter on a weekday. I hate it when I have to go at the weekend. Perhaps you should take up Park Run like @NornIronRose then you wouldn't be available on a Saturday. 🤔

It's a lovely, sunny day today but it's hard to believe that it won't go back to cold and rain any minute.

It's only 6 weeks to our holiday but it feels as if it was winter only yesterday. I need to get my summer clothes out and check if I need anything new but it seems like tempting fate.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA 1 milk for drinks, bacon, egg (P), baked beans (F)
    L- JP (F), tuna (P), pickles and tomatoes (S)
D- meatballs in tomato sauce (P,S,F), spaghetti (F), HEA 1 Parmesan
    Syns- LTL mayo 1

Morning all, bright and sunny but very cold still. Not complaining though, it’s a novelty to see the sun 🤣

I always read PITA when I see the word pitta 🙈🤣 but your chip buttie sounds Devine @bubbs

Fitness class this afternoon and just a pottering around with some cleaning bits that need done. I love my house to be clean and tidy but hate housework with a passion!

    Today’s food:
B - fruit and yoghurt 0.5 (I’m really enjoying this)
L - tomato and red pepper soup, toasted soft pitta HEXB
D - chilli with rice, homemade tomato salsa

    Have a good day all.
