Well done @bubbs. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ That's a brilliant result and you must be firmly in your target range again. πŸ‘πŸ»

I'm happy too. 😁 I called him in to use the scales at the GP surgery and I'm well within range too. I'm monitoring carefully as I definitely want to be close to target before my holiday in 6 weeks time. 🌞😎

My Tuesday walking group is a bit of an amble too @Jellybaby. As it's close to home, I compensate by walking briskly there and back.Β

I got a chicken curry out of the freezer and as DH thought it was too hot I'll use it up on 2 lunches for me.Β

    Today's plan - I wasΒ
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, egg (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
    L- JP (F), chicken curry (P, S), tomatoes, cornichons (S)Β
D- sausages and chips, baked beans
(F), carrots, red onion, mushrooms (S)
    Syns - sausages 1, weekend wine 😁

That chicken is a real bargain @bubbs. Judging by the full price it must be a big one. You should have plenty of left overs. 😁

Well done on the 3lb loss @bubbs x Can understand why you're annoyed at the consultant, no excuse to not treat volunteers with respect. We have a group member who flings her book on the table at me each week, doesn't get her card out of the pocket on the book and never EVER says hello, thank you etc. Grinds my gears every week!

I am not weighing in tomorrow as haven't been very good today. Will leave it under two weeks time.Β

I loathe that. It’s just manners. I am getting more & more disenchanted with the whole social team thing. It’s just free labour & SW could not run without it.Β

That's so rude @bubbs. I agree with @beanielou that SW is relying on free labour to run their groups. The least they can do is train the consultants to treat the social team with respect. I suppose it's just luck of the draw depending on how well mannered the consultant is naturally.

🀞you have a good week coming up @Coxy11

  • Amazing loss bubbs!!!!!! Woohooo!Β

I was the opposite this week after my 3.5lb loss last week, I managed to gain 2.5lb! Had expected maybe a pound but hey ho.Β
Think it is a combo of a few meals out (nothing excessive) and haven't been taking my HRT regularly.Β
Have also been down in the dumps this week with a personal matter and am a very emotional eater so it is what it is.Β

On a more positive note, after a depressing week, I went to a Women of Inspiration awards dinner last night with my really good friends. Saw lots of people whom I haven't seen for a good while and got comments from pretty much everyone about how well I was looking. I'm at that good stage where the weight loss is pretty noticeable now so that wqs good.Β
It was a great night and found one of my old friends whom I had lost contact with. We nattered for ages and will definitely be getting together.Β

Off out to parkrun in a bit. Got a really busy weekend with another couple of meals out so will try to make good choices.Β
Tbh, I go away on holiday next Sat and really cba. I think I just want to forget about SW for this week and just tackle it all when I come back.Β

Shame about the gain @NornironRose. I'd be inclined to choose as well as you can when you're out without feeling deprived but stick to SW at home. And definitely set a day to restart when you get back from your holiday.Β

It's great when people notice the weightloss. I remember a nephew of mine telling me how good I looked at a family get together. He's a hairdresser so used to complimenting ladies but I was delighted that it was noticeable.Β

Last home game of the season today but may have to extend the Crunchie eating season if we make the play offs. 🀣

    Today's plan -Β
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, scrambled eggs (P), tomatoes (S)Β
    L- JP (F), chicken curry (P, S), tomatoes and pickled cabbage (S)Β
    D- keema curry (P, S, F), rice (F)Β
Syns - half Crunchie 3, weekend wine 😁

Shame about the gain @NornIronRose but glad you had a good night out, and to reconnect with a friend is even better. You have inspired me to get my running gear out, ready for an early one tomorrow, so thank you xx

Double-edged sword with the play offs @maman :D I do so love a Crunchie!

I went to group and we have a book to write down anything of note to the consultant. There was a message in black thick felt pen and CAPITALS(!) asking for the food diary sheets to go in the laptop case instead of the admin bag because (unbeknownst to me) the admin bag now stays in the hall storage cupboard!! Can't stand notes written in CAPITALS as it's like SHOUTING!!!

I didn't weight however as I am on my own this weekend with DH being away, I came home and made some savoury muffins using up some odds and ends of veg (spring onions, mushrooms, red pepper, spinach). Used 6 eggs and 150g of natural fat free cottage cheese and baked for 23 minutes (recipe said 20-25). Have had a couple of lunch and have kept some in the fridge for lunch on Monday. Have frozen the others - hoping they will be okay defrosted??

I had a hifi and some grapes at group. A friend is hosting the camping wives this afternoon from 4pm and is doing charcuterie and prosecco! I am taking a bottle and some flowers for the hostess but will stick to one glass then pepsi max. I'm getting the bus and there's only 1 an hour so can't afford to miss the return one.

Dinner tonight is SC gammon in pepsi max with mustardy leeks and cauliflower. Will be a few syns as I'm adding butter and wholegrain mustard to the leeks.Β
