  • I hear you Beanie. Lots of beige food?

I was in London for the marathon yesterday and had 2 sandwiches! Haven't had white bread (hardly any bread in fact) for 6 months.
Hope it isn't reflected in WI this week. But I have run 27km in the past week so that has made me hungry lol.

    Morning all,

Hope you’re all doing okay? Today I have bought in:

    B – blueberry wheats, blueberries, 0% vanilla and coconut yog – HEB/S/0.5

L – orzo, red onion, red pepper, red wine vinegar, sun dried tomatoes, melon, banana – F/S/1

Dinner tonight is a quick prawn and chilli spaghetti as DH and I are going to a live showing of a National Theatre production. Got 2 free tickets for working for the NHS. Need to be at the cinema in next town for 7pm, so will be a quick home, eat and straight back out again to the station!

That chicken dish looks lovely @Matron_Midge – is that from the app or can you share the recipe please?

Hope the funeral went off okay @beanielou. Can’t help a beige buffet L

Well done on all that running @NornIronRose! I am hoping to start again to build up to 5k at some point. Waiting for TOTM to be over……. Sorry if TMI.

Morning all, another beautiful day here! To celebrate I’m on the second load of bedding, just having a quick coffee while it finishes.

Snap, great minds and all that @Coxy11 I’m having the same dinner 😁

Walked a couple of laps of one of our parks earlier. It was cold but the sun shining made everyone very chatty. Just need some heat to go with it now 🤣

    Today’s food:
B - not hungry so just coffee so far
L - roast chicken salad sandwich, 1.5 for salad cream, fruit
D - tomato, prawn and chilli linguine

    Have a good day everyone!

Hope you have enjoy the film @Coxy11. I'd have loved to see it but I'm busy tonight. It's Michael Sheen as Nye Bevan, founder of the NHS.

Seems prawn linguine is popular tonight. 😋 Unfortunately DH isn't a fan of prawns but we're having one of your other favourites @J@Jellybaby

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA 1 milk for drinks, bacon, egg (P), baked beans (F)
    L- LOs same as yesterday (P, S, F)
D- meatballs in tomato sauce with spaghetti (P, S, F), HEA 2 Parmesan
    Syns - 0

Morning everyone, well would you believe I have another beautiful day here! Very chilly but the sun’s out, that will do for me. No washing to do today 🤣

@maman you know my favourites 🤣 meatballs will be on the menu on Saturday I think.

Going along to a stretching class this morning. I’ve also joined a local walking group and my first meet will be tomorrow morning.  I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned I’ve been looking at volunteering roles and a couple of options have cropped up. I need to think about this one more.

    Today’s food:
    B - toast, jam 2 syns
    L - veggie omelette, pickles
D - stuffed pork fillet, potatoes, loads of roasted veg

Hope you all have a good day.
