    Hi all,

That’s really annoying about the table @Jellybaby and the phone line @bubbs. I asked DH to call our mortgage provider today to ask a question (he’s still not working and has all day to do so). Bet he hasn’t though. I can’t do it from the office – can you imagine!

Happy holidays to @joedenise and @maddiemay – enjoy yourselves J

Huge congratulations on the loss @NornIronRose – that’s really good news J

Food today was a meal deal from Sains consisting of fish sushi (2.5) a pot of pineapple and a diet coke which I’ll take home for DS2. I brought in breakfast of blueberry wheats (HEB), blueberries (S) and 0% fat yog (0.5), plus a banana and half a galia melon chopped up. I had a meeting from 11.30am-1pm and two others from 1pm-2.15pm so needed something quick. Praise be that the later meetings got cancelled so I could go to lunch as normal at 1pm.

Dinner tonight is chicken and red wine tagliatelle courtesy of DH. He managed to bust the food budget whilst I was walking and still every day there’s at least one ingredient missing for dinner which he sends DS2 to the shop for (despite being off all day). Hoping tonight he has everything in!

Can you believe they’ve announced an admin and clerical consultation here which may mean I have to apply for my own job. Just can’t make it up.

*Waves white flag and sneaks back in*
I have been absent from the forum for a while. I’ve still been a member of SW but an online one. No groups around me that I can attend without forgoing something else and I’m at work whilst the others are on. I made the decision to go online when covid struck and I went back to work - I’m still there 🤣
I have been at the top end of my target for a very long time but, we’ve just got back from a holiday and I have gained a total of 8.5lbs. That puts me at 5.5lbs out of range. 7 weeks until my next one so I’m back for some accountability.
not much food in until I shop tomorrow but today looks like this
HEa milk and laughing cow triangles
    HEb ryvita  sweet onion
    B melon
L cheese on crackers and apple
D egg, SW chips and beans with beetroot on the side.
no planned syns - I use a bank as many of you do

i have read about you all periodically, all that flooding sounded awful Bubbs and Coxy, if it wasn’t for bad luck, you wouldn’t have any luck at all! I hope it doesn’t come to reapplication

Hope you don’t mind me jumping back in.

Welcome back @Matron_Midge.  Everyone is welcome, newbies, returners, online members or anyone just following the SW principles generally.

As you've probably seen I'm off on an AI holiday so will probably be joining you in the way over target range - probably more so than you as I'm already 2lb over from my last holiday 3 months ago!  I just haven't been able to lose it having put on 7lb back then.

You seem to be in the same boat as me this week in not having much in but I've finished up everything fresh which was in so will need to go shopping asap after we get home!

Good luck with shifting your extra lbs.
  • Thanks joedenise and have a wonderful holiday.
we’ll do it together once you are home #slowloserclub xx

Amazing loss @NornironRose. 👏👏👏You're doing really well. Good luck with your shiny next week. You must be really up for it.

Good to see you posting again @Matron_Midge. 😊 I think most of us gain after a holiday. I usually manage about half a stone but I'm resigned to it. The important thing is to draw that line and get back on plan ASAP. You're doing that and posting here will help too.

Hope your DH doesn't find yet more ingredients to spend money on @Coxy11. Perhaps you should send him shopping with @bubbs. 🤔🤣

Have a great holiday @joedenise. Remember to drink plenty. 😁

Glad the new table is unscathed @Jellybaby. 👍

    Today's plan -
B- fry up (P, F), HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
    L- JP (F), chilli (P, S), cottage cheese (P), pickles (S)
D- liver and bacon (P), mash, peas, LO gravy (F), veg (S)
    Syns - 0

    Welcome back @Matron_Midge!

I’ve a loading washing on too - yes, it’s actually sunny and bright here 🤣 - and once it’s out I’m popping into town to meet a friend for coffee.

Don’t know what happened with fruit and veg this week but there’s very little left.

    Today’s food:
    B - toast HEXB, jam 2
    L - minestrone soup
D - chilli, rice, side salad

    Have a good day all!
