Morning all, looking nice and bright this morning and of course I haven't got enough washing to make use of it!!! Β Hopefully it will be as good tomorrow as I want to do the final load before finishing off the packing - I want to take a few of the bits that need washing!
That was a great Lidl box @bubbs; typically our Lidl had some decent boxes on Saturday when I went in but I just wouldn't have been able to make use of all the stuff before we leave and not enough freezer space to freeze much of it so I left it. Β Hopefully there will be some nice boxes when we get back!
Taking my friend to the hospital this morning to return a CPAP machine which she collected yesterday. Β They need to see how badly she needs one - the one she's been using is 7 years old now and absolutely useless so she's had to stop using it! Β Trouble is she doesn't drive and it has to be returned between 8.30 and 10am and to get there before 10 she'd need to get the 6.30am bus! Β It would be a bus; 2 trains; a bus and then a short walk to get there and the same again back so it would take up most of the day to do it. Β So glad I drive even if I hate doing it!
So today's plan:
B - weetabix, milk
L - stuffed peppers with herby couscous
D - keema curry, rice
HEA1 - milk in drinks
HEA2 - 50:50 milk:cheese
HEB - Weetabix
Syns - none planned
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Fabulous loss @beanielou π. You get great bargains @bubbs. A friend does her shopping when she finishes work at 7am. She always moans thereβs no bargains - sheβs looking for bread, cakes, sweet treats not the fruit and veg that Iβd want! That would be quite a trek for your friend @joedenise hope the journey goes smoothly.
Waiting on my new table to arrive so a pottering day for me.
Food today:
B - fruit and l/fat Greek yoghurt, skinny syrup 0.5, HEXA for coffees
L - lentil soup, fruit
D - meatballs, tomato sauce, spaghetti, Parmesan HEXA2
Have a good day all.0 -
Hi all, Iβm back from my trek/wade!
NGL I keep having flashbacks to the wading and itβs like PTSD. Keep shuddering about what might have happened, just awful.
Anyway, we walked 135.4 miles in 11 days, collected Β£184.51 in our collection pots, and received Β£286 donations online, so not too shabby! Back on it again in Aug/Sept depending on diaries.
I am discombobulated being back in the office, but have bought in a packed lunch of freezer surprise which I think is chilli con carne, plus a cheese portion. Breakfast was my usual blueberry wheat pillows, with blueberries and 0% vanilla yog β DH bought me Activia Gut Health ones but they are still only 0.5 syns. I also have a banana for this afternoonsβ snack. Dinner is turkey saltimbocca with veg.
I have lost 1.5lb on the walk so still in target range. May or may not weigh this week β will decide later.
Well done on the good loss @beanielou thatβs fabulous xx
Thatβs some turnaround @bubbs β just shows how fast us women can get ready when we need to. Great haul too x
Hope everyone is doing okay.

It must be a huge shock to the system going straight back to work after the trek @Coxy11. Well done on the fundraising and your 1.5lbs loss! πππ
Hope you're pleased with your new table @Jellybaby. π
Lovely day here and got out for a walk this morning. We'll have another on the way to football tonight so all good Body Magic! It's almost the end of the season so soon no more syns used on Crunchies for a couple of months. π€£
Agreed, you don't want to come back to washing after your holiday @joedenise. You'll have enough to bring back with you.Β
Today's plan -Β
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEA 1 milk for drinksΒ
L- ham (P), fried veg and pickles (S)Β
D- meatballs in tomato sauce (P, F, S), spaghetti (F), HEA 2 ParmesanΒ
Syns - half Crunchie 30
