Good news about the loss @Jellybaby and both of your mums procedures @bubbs and @Jellybaby. I had a nice 1lb loss on Tuesday at WI, but lost the plot since and it will be a miracle if I can maintain it next Tuesday.
Away for 3 weeks then, but might WI the 2nd week as the local meeting is just around the corner from where I am staying (I did this last year too), the people were really friendly and it would give OH and I a little break from each other. We do get on fine, but 3 weeks together in a medium size caravan can be a bit constricting, also it might help me stay nearer to plan.
Just chopped and cooked a big pan of Med roast veg for tomorrow and a lunch, veg prepped for a Chicken and veg Laska - it was the subject of yesterday's Curry Club cook-a-long.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Well done on losses @maddiemay and @Jellybaby. 👏👏👏
We always want more @Jellybaby but at least you're back to winning ways. 👍
Good idea to go to a group while you're away @maddiemay. I always like to get to other groups locally as all are different.
Sorry about your gain @bubbs. ☹️ Why do you think that was? 🤔 You always seem to be on plan.
It's amazing how much fuel prices vary @joedenise. Good idea to make the most of it when you're in the right area.
Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, kippers (P), HEA milk for drinks
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), salad bits and pickles (S)
D- keema curry (P, S, F ), rice (F)
Syns - half Crunchie 3, weekend wine 😁
Maybe a syn or two in the kippers as tiny pat of butter in the (shared) pack and may have a couple of tsps of mango chutney. I always seem to get a bit careless after WI but need to get a grip soon during build up to holiday.

Morning all, another really wet day forecast here, joy.
Sorry Bubbs for the gain but you’ll get that off next week no problem. I’m sure you’ll be fine for WI on Tuesday @maddiemay and the chicken and veg laska sounds interesting.
Feeling a bit out of sorts and fed up with myself this morning. Maybe it’s the quieter week after all the hustle and bustle who knows but it will pass eventually.
Heading out to dismantle and dump some furniture (well DS is doing the heavy work 🤣) for an elderly aunt then hoping to have a look for some new ceramic planters to smarten up the garden.
Fruit and yoghurt so far, no idea what lunch will be yet and silverside with all the trimmings for dinner.Have a good day everyone!0 -
Morning all, another nice day here so making the most of it and have done a machine load of washing which is hanging on the line. Will have to hope the sun will dry it as there isn't a breath of wind so it's just hanging there!
Need to out to Tesco Pharmacy to get some Ibuprofen gel as my arthritis is really playing up and that seems to help a bit. Will also take a tablet and hope that I can get a bit of relief. It's at the base of my thumb and even things like cutting up food is extremely painful.
So today's plan:
B - fry up with sausages
L - tuna and mayo, cucumber sandwich
D - roast pork, roast potatoes, roasted veg, green veg, swede and carrot mash
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2; apple sauce 1 (I synned the mayo yesterday so not counting it again today!).
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Sorry to hear you're in pain @joedenise. Hope the Ibuprofen gives some relief.😊
I'm amazed where all that washing comes from. Mine's out on the line today too. There is a slight breeze and it's not as warm or sunny as yesterday but a big improvement on rain, rain and more rain. 😁
It takes a while to get used to retirement @Jellybaby but it's worth working at it! 🤣
I'm out for lunch on Wednesday but otherwise the week ahead looks good for SW.
Another omelette for lunch today. I've had a few lately and JPs, probably becasue not many meals this last week lent themselves to leftovers. I'll put that right today with all the vegetables for dinner!
Today's plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- Spanish omelette (P,S,F), pickles (S)
D- roast chicken (P), SW roast potatoes, LM stuffing (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns- HM gravy 4, weekend wine😁0 -
