Well freezer surprise turned out to be Massaman  curry which was both spicy and very tasty mmmmm

I didn’t get offsite at lunchtime as the weather turned cold and wet, so my steps will be well down even for a normal work day (normally manage around 6k) However given my hiking over the past week I think I can rest easy!

Well done @Coxy11 - that was some trek and some great fundraising.  You definitely deserve to walk less steps after that epic trek!

The weather is really weird today - going from cloudy to sunny to showery and just had a very heavy shower with lots of wind and now it's sunny again!  It doesn't seem to want to make up it's mind.

Morning all, supposed to be dry today so am doing the final wash this morning.  It will be going out on the line and hopefully it will dry although there isn't any breeze at the moment!  I'll probably just chuck the last couple of bits in my hand luggage rather than bothering to open the suitcases again!

We go away in the early hours of Friday morning @bubbs - need to leave home about 3.30am!  I hate these early mornings but needs must if we're to get away for a bit of warmth!

I've managed to find some SW friendly foods for today although will need to syn extra bread!

    Plan today is:

B - scrambled eggs, spinach on toast
    L - bacon sandwich
    D - steak, chips, onions

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - bread 7; spread 3

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning!  I envy you having some sun and warmth @joedenise it’s September before I’m abroad again.

Table arrived but has minor damage on one edge that clearly came from not being packaged properly so that’s being returned and another will arrive tomorrow. What a faff.

Cleaned out some kitchen cupboards yesterday while I was pottering and happy to report no out of date packet or jars. I’m getting better at this!

    Today’s food:
B - bran flakes HEXB, fruit, muller light 0.5
    L - lentil soup
D - chicken schnitzel, cubed potatoes, loads of roasted veg - counting 4 for the breadcrumbs and will try cooking it in the oven rather than frying it in oil and butter the way my Austrian SIL does 😇🤣

    Have a good day everyone!

Forgot to weigh before I posted earlier and have just done it and only managed a 0.5lb loss - still at least it's in the right direction before the next lot of big gains!!!  I'll probably need to lose nearly a stone by the time I come back but at least I know how to do it - it's just sticking to plan rather than going a bit made with the wrong stuff which I seem to have been doing a bit lately.

Not had chicken schnitzel for ages.  Definitely better to cook in the oven rather than in loads of oil and butter!

Goodness that was a quick exit the other day @bubbs.
Well done on the walk and the loss @Coxy11.
Bad luck about the table @Jellybaby
I hope that you have a great holiday @joedenise, also trying to clear all the washing here, don't want to come back to much needing doing as well as 3 week's worth we might have to bring back with us. May try and do some essentials  on site though.

WI last night gained 1/2lb, sat exactly half way in range now.  Last meeting for 3 perhaps 4 weeks, I shall not have my kitchen or bathroom scales, I will be lost!

    Evening all

Denise, so worth the early morning though!!  Well done on your loss 👏👏

Maddie i take a weighing spoon everywhere with me when i go away, have you ever thought of one of those? Unless of course you want 3 weeks off plan?

Jelly that's a damn nuisance about your table!

I have been really annoyed last 2 days, need to ring a company about a policy we have, yesterday i was on hold 1 hr 2 mins!! then i put the phone down, today i was on hold for 55 mins then they cut me off!! They ask you if you want a call back, i thougt oh that's better, but no they call you straight back and stick you on hold 😡i thought the idea of  call back was someone was available to speak to you? The only bonus is them paying for the call and not me as such although they are all inclusive on my phone, while i was on hold i mad lasagne and washed up 🤣but that does not solve the problem of not speaking to someone

    Food
2 boiled eggs, pear and satsuma

hexb soft pitta, ham and beetroot, seafood sticks and tomato

Syn free lasagne, 1 hexa, salad
