    Welcome back @Matron_Midge :)
Food looks lush as always @bubbs x

Well today there was no fruit in the house, none of my HEB cereal, and no freezer surprise or leftovers. Had to resort to another Sainsbobs meal deal of veg sushi, mango pot, and a bottle of water as nothing else suitable (only Mountain Dew or Ribena in the fridge). I have also partaken in some work tuck goodies because it's been a loooong week. DH is on dinner duty which is a SW recipe of red wine chicken tagliatelle - meant to be last night's dinner but I got home to a locked up house as DH had gone to the pub - no note, no dinner, nothing defrosted.  We ended up having mussels, french fries and garlic bread. You can imagine my joy. Not that I begrudge him going to the pub, but in the afternoon, really?

Looking forward to group tomorrow - I won't weight but it will be good to get back in the zone. Haircut and wedding shoe shopping tomorrow too. It's all go.

That's the way to go @Matron_Midge, meal plan and shopping list to go with it sets you up for the week. 👍

It's a good sign if you've eaten loads of fruit and veg this week @Jellybaby. 👍

Funnily enough @Coxy11, I was looking at syns for mussels in various sauces on the app this week and most are fairly low. I love moules frites but it does depend on if they're SW chips. Enough said about garlic bread. 🤣

    Today's plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
    L- eggs (P), bubble and squeak (F, S), pickles (S)
    D- sausage casserole (P, F, S), penne (F)
Syns - BGTY sausages 2, weekend wine 😁

According to to the websites, the Sainsburys BGTY Cumberland sausages are much better value for money than the Aldi skinny ones and the packs of 8 suit me better than 6.🤔
  • Quick question: when we got onto this new thread my bookmark seems to be stuck on page 5. I've unbookmarked, and rebookmarked and still it's on page 5. Any clue what I can do?

Thank you all for my WI news. Those last few pounds have made a difference in my clothes more than some of the previous losses.
To answer if I have much more to lose, the answer is yes.
I set my target at 12 st 7 as that was the weight I got to when I was in my 20s and had lost 6.5 st and I looked and felt great. Started at 16st (15st 7.5 at SW).
Probably will sit at that for a while (if I get there) then drop it a bit more.
I'm at 13 st 2 just now. Hoping to be below the 13 before I go on holiday in 2 weeks. AI for us too and I did giggle at the thought of having the scales out at the buffet.

Going to buy myself some nice underwear today (any idea what kind of pants don't look too hideous with a saggy belly? Smaller but floppy now).
Haven't bought any bras or pants for a few years. So going to treat myself today as I got some Matalan vouchers.

Wow! Just thought I would measure myself before I go to buy a new bra. Been living in sports bras for ages.
Last one was 38 round the chest. Just measured under bust at 32"!!!!!! Had to do it 3 times to be sure! Cup size is more difficult as everything has gone south but probably an F. Pity we no longer have an M&S or Debenhams so I could go to the measuring ladies.
  • Witwoo Rose. Sounds like you have really toned up. Welll done on the NSV
iIve been gardening for about 3.5 hours this morning - plenty of body magic.
    Today looks like this :
    HEa milk + cheese
HEb Robert super oaty bread (2slices)

    B melon
L tuna Mayo and cucumber sandwich (6) - only had full fat Mayo but it was delicious
    D lasagne and salad.
syns may have a glass of wine later this evening.Have also rekindled my love of frozen cherries. Will probably have some of those too. They are free not speed but I figure they are better than sweeties or ice cream.

Really loving being back on plan properly. Online is ok but even at target you have to keep paying so the financial incentive isn’t there to get back in to range. I have, however, promised myself a new pair of UGG slippers when I do (from the outlet) They are stupidly expensive (even in the outlet) but my last pair have lasted 3 years, don’t make my feet sweaty (even in summer ‘cos they are sheepskin) have a hard sole for nipping out to peg washing/empty bin and most importantly, they feel like heaven when you put your feet in them at the end of a long day.

I picked up the new slimming foodie book at the supermarket yesterday. Has some great things in there and also has 4 weeks of menu plans with shopping lists. Will report back!
have a fab Saturday everyone xx

Can’t help with the bookmark query but wow, just wow, at your non scale victory with bras! @NornIronRose Keep going, you’ll smash it 😁

I put bloody two pounds on this morning!! Where did that come from?! Consultant said have a good think it’s got to come from somewhere 😠 will keep plodding but seriously not a happy bunny.

Shopping done for the week and I bought extra fruit - so much the woman on the till commented 🤣 but I said SW and she nodded 🤣

So, banana and coffee in group, ham salad roll and coffee at mums and spag bol for dinner with Parmesan. No alcohol will pass my lips 😇
  • Gosh that's annoying JB! Never as bad when you can see why you had the gain.
Have a good rest of your weekend folks.
I'm heading to London with friends to watch our buddy running in the marathon.
Signed up for the ballot for 2025 but only a 1 in 20 chance of a space.

I just know that after today I will probably want to do it again anyway even if I don't get a ballot space.

Foodwise will be healthy snacks but then dinner with the girls. Will hopefully find some decent grilled chicken. At least London has all the options.
  • It’s very quiet on here. Must be the glorious weather.
    Todays food
    HEa milk and cheddar
    HEB Roberts super oaty bread
B apple and Bliss protein whip bar (5)
    L baked beans on Toast
D cauli cheese soup with potato wedges for dipping - recipients from new Slimming Foodie book

I’ve been planting seeds in the greenhouse. Hoping that I have a great crop of tomatoes again as I still have some tomato sauce in the freezer that I made at the end of summer. Back to work tomorrow. Everything is ready to go at 7am - that is going to be a shock 🤣🤣

I didn't get to post yesterday but stayed on plan. I was out dancing in the evening and driving myself so no weekend wine. This meant I had only about 3.5 syns for the day so plenty left for the week ahead.😁

Sorry to hear you had a gain @Jellybaby. I'm guessing that it must be a hangover from when you were away with your brother as not all excess syns show up immediately. 🤔

That doesn't look like much food for today @Matron_Midge. That's fine if you're satisfied but I'm greedy and I like my roast on a Sunday.😋

I can't imaging doing a marathon @NornIronRose but if it's your thing then I do hope you are successful in the ballot or, if not, try some other venues or half marathons as there are more of those around.

Thanks for sharing the numbers and many congratulations on the NSV with the bra size. 👍🏼 It's a shame you don't have anywhere that does measuring. Hope you find something to fit.

I was about half a stone heavier than you are now when I started and lost 3.5 stone in just under a year to get to target so it can be done. I think you're right to look at it in stages. Not far to your 12.5 stone but that will be after you lose your holiday gain! 🤣

I did keema curry in the SC yesterday. That's fast becoming a favourite. I portioned it up for the freezer and kept some out for my lunch today.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk, fried eggs (P), baked beans (F)
    L- JP (F), keema curry (P,S), pickles (S)
D- JO roast pork (P), roast potatoes (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns- HM gravy 4, weekend wine😁
