    Afternoon all,

Great loss 🥳 @TakeItEazy. I’m sure things will work out with your friend.
Your consultant is very cheeky! @Coxy11. Enjoy your meal and drinks tonight.
You’ll have that wee gain off in no time @joedenise. I’m impressed with all the washing done already! I’ve had four seasons here today 😠

After a stressful week, absolutely delighted with a pound off. Keeps me on track and fingers crossed for the same again next week - weight off not stress!

I have a friend coming over for dinner tonight and she always brings wine. To help with the syns I’ve decided we’re having homemade meatballs, spaghetti with Parmesan and salad instead of the usual take away.

Well done on your loss @Jellybaby. 👏👏👏

Good idea to have the syn free meal to go with the wine! 👍 Very mse too compared with a take away.

Welcome back @joedenise. 4.5lbs isn't bad at all for a fortnight of AI. 👍

I'm sorry to hear that your holiday wasn't up to scratch. That can be a problem with AI hotels when they're away from places of interest. I'm sure there are things to see and do in Tunisia but obviously not where you were. ☹️

Denise, Sorry you didn't enjoy your holiday, nothing worse 😢

Was a frost here this morning, but a lovely sunny cold day, rather have that than the stair rods of rain we have been having!!

Morning all (busy only just!)!  The morning has just disappeared although I have done another couple of loads of washing and got it out on the line.  I actually dried 3 loads yesterday, did another 2 and hung out overnight which was dry by 10am so the final 2 loads are on the line now.  They've had a good blow but the wind isn't as strong now so the washing is hardly moving.  Hopefully it'll still dry in the next couple of hours so I can get it in before the forecast rain later on.

You'll soon shift that odd 0.5lb @bubbs.  Our bodies do weird things at times which we wouldn't even notice normally - it's only because we weigh regularly that we notice the small gains and losses!

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - P; S; F; 1
    L - toasted cheese sandwich, pickles - HEA2; HEB; S
    D - pork steak, air fried potatoes, veg; followed by banana custard - P; S; F; 4.5

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
Syns - sausage 1; milk (for custard) 3; cornflour 1.5; may have a cereal bar later as well 4

    Have a good day everyone.

Wow @TakeItEazy, that's quite a walk! But it's in a great cause and well worth doing. Hopefully you can get a good few kilometres in at weekends so don't have to do too much on school days. Do you have a Just Giving page? 🤔 Good Luck!

That's the problem coming back from holidays @joedenise, all the washing! At least the weather's in your favour to get it out of the way quickly.

I was really good at the dance yesterday evening. I ate a couple of small squares of rye bread with smoked salmon on and all the rest was syn free fruit, tomatoes and some hard boiled egg.

DH suggested going out to eat tonight. We have a local carvery which isn't the worst option for SW but, as we ate out on Friday, I said we'd leave it until next week and think about it then. So, we're having sausage and mash.🤣 They're Sainsbury's BGTY sausages as Aldi didn't have any of my usual ones. There wasn't even a blank space so hopefully they've not been discontinued. 🤔

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
L- ham and veggie omelette (P,S), beetroot and cornichons (S)
D- sausage, mash, peas (F), BNS, broccoli, carrots, onions (S)
    Syns- sausages 2, gravy 4?, weekend wine😁

Can't believe I got all the washing done, dried, folded and put away by 3pm this afternoon!  Don't think I've ever been able to do that before.  Certainly helped getting home shortly after lunch as meant I could get some of it done and dried by early evening and then more out on the line to dry overnight.

🤞 the Aldi sausages you usually haven't been discontinued @maman.  Are they the 0.5 syn ones?

Yes, that's right @joedenise. The Sainsburys BGTY are only 1 syn but it's annoying when things disappear from the shelves.

I've put Bolognese in the SC as well today so that's more HM ready meals for the freezer. The menu might be a bit samey until kitchen is back in action but I'm determined not to live on take aways and pub meals. 😁
