Good decision to carry on @Coxy11. 👍 I'm sure you'll cope well on Saturday.

That's really sad about the lady in the floods @bubbs. Your part of the country seems to have been hit hard.

It's been chaotic here today. The good news is all the new windows and doors have arrived. The bad news is we've had electricians here all day drilling out channels in the walls and floors for the wiring. Masses of noise and dust and no cooker any more. ☹️

But I've managed to stick to plan. 👍

B-HEB toast, bacon, egg (P), baked beans (F), HEA1 milk for drinks
    L- JP (F), tuna (P), salad (S)
D- meatballs and spaghetti in tomato sauce (P, F, S), HEA 2 Parmesan
    Syns - LTL mayo 1

Well done @maman for sticking to plan. Really not easy when you are limited with facilities to cook.

So awful about that poor lady @bubbs – cannot believe the amount of rainfall in your area L

I cooked last night – first time in weeks as DH has been in charge. He does a great job and sticks to SW meals bless him. He went to feed BIL’s cats as they are away, so I did a lovely tuna pasta bake which was delicious.

UTI has gone away which is a relief. Have received draft contracts for the sale of our property. Still awaiting our buyer coming back with any queries over the survey he has had done.

    Food today:

B – blueberry wheats, blueberries, FF greek vanilla yog – HEB, S, 0.5

L – orzo pot (red pepper, red onion, sun-dried tomatoes, red wine vinegar), melon, apple – F, S, 3

    D – chilli, prawn and cherry tomato linguine – F, P, S

    HEA – milk

Syns – currently on 3.5 but will add something later.

Hope all goes well with your move @Coxy11. It's very messy making our house larger but I think moving is probably even more stressful. All the windows are going in today and it looks great, like a proper room instead of a boarded up shed! 🤣

It does really help when DHs are on board with SW. I listen to members at group sometimes and it's really hard for them when they're cooking separate meals for others in the family. My DH does eat things that are not SW friendly but not for our shared meals. We have a great arrangement where mostly he does breakfast and I do dinner and, as I'm not a morning person, that suits me fine.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, egg, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
    L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), salad (S)
D- savoury mince (P,S), new potatoes, peas (F), carrots, broccoli (S)
    Syns- 0

Morning all, life has got in the way again of me posting. Dad became unwell, ended up in hospital for a night, back home again. He’s fine, mother’s fine and I’m hanging in there, just 😀

I think I’ve lived on M&S sandwiches, fruit packs and the posh cafe place coffee (and the only thing posh is the price!).  Anyways, shopping day today and as DS2 is away this weekend, only me to feed and there’s still plenty in the fridge and freezer.

We have rain here @bubbs but nothing like you, hope you’re ok.

Well done on the loss @beanielou and to you too @Coxy11 for sticking with it. You know the plan inside out and will get those few extra pounds off in no time. PS you should hire your husband out as a SW chef, I’m first 🤣

Great to read your building work is coming together @maman your pantry is in sight! (I’m so excited about this, and jealous!).

Sorry if I’ve missed anyone, I’ve only read a few pages back. Have a good day all 😁

Bit late to posting my update this week, I wasn't too well yesterday evening and middle son found me completely bashed out with laptop on and the cats cuddled up.

I lost just over the 1 and a quarter pounds this week which I am very chuffed with as I weighed a day later last week but kept the same day as normal this week.

It's been a hectic week, after my fall at the end of June, a visit to a community physio and a referral to the hospital, I had my appointment last Thursday. I was immediately referred for another x ray which happened on Thursday afternoon and an urgent MRI which I was told could take up to 2 weeks to come through. Friday lunchtime I was sat there having my lunch when I get a phone call from the hospital, could I come up that evening.

So up we go, had it done and then because everything was far too much for my wonky brain condition and my chronic fatigue after having all that rushing around following on from stresses with mum, had a major collapse Friday night. I'm still not great, my energy reserves are way down, pain levels far too high and my brain (or more specifically, the message sending bit) has gone on strike and is refusing to speak to the rest of my body, leading to paralysis, speech malfunctioning and a plethora of other unsavoury things involving my bladder, bowel and intestines.

Not such a great week for middle son, he fell completely off the rails, probably through the stress of what was happening with me and had a rather impressive gain.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Another pound+ gone @SingleSue. Well done! 👏👏👏 I think you're doing really well, especially with all your health issues.

I did check out the M&S cafe at the hospital, when DH was there in June @Jellybaby, and they did jacket potatoes. Fortunately, I wasn't there at mealtimes but out of normal hours then it's just sandwiches or worse. At least you managed some fruit! 🤣

I read about Billing in today's paper @bubbs. Where the people evacuated holidaymakers? 🤔

I'm having chocolate tonight, as I'm feeling like spoiling myself, so quite a high syn day for me. Saturday is likely to be low for a weekend as I'm driving in the evening so it'll balance out.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, scrambled eggs and ham (P), HEA milk for drinks
L- cold meat (P), vegetable hash and pickles (F, S)
    D- keema curry (P, F, S), rice (F)
    Syns - mango chutney 2?, chocolate 7

I just love the way you do the Chinese in the take away containers @bubbs. How do you make chow mein? 🤔

You have so many people living in lodges around your way @bubbs. They must be so fed up with the floods. Their insurance must be sky high. ☹️  We do have lodges around here but nothing like that number.
