1lb loss for me this week, I am now the lightest I have been for over 20 years. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

After a disastrous few weeks ,I rejoined SW on Wednesday !
it actually wasn’t as bad as I was expecting, but not good
I have come to the conclusion that I’m just not disciplined enough to go it alone ,
thoroughly ashamed of myself but needs must0 -

Wow @bubbs - amazing haul xx
Well done @SingleSue - great result xx
That's me all over @Suffolksue - have rejoined SO MANY TIMES over the last 20 years, hate to think of all the money I've spent on subs. Still pondering what to do tomorrow. I mean, I am able to go along and do Pay without weighing but can't stay to group as I have a haircut booked....might PM my consultant as hate to let people down and the social team is a bit thin on the ground some weeks.....
Food today:
B - blueberry wheats, blueberries, vanilla ff yog - HEB, S, 0.5
L - brown rice, pickled pink onions, gherkins, feta, fig, soy sauce - S, HEA
D - Schezuan Pork with noodles - free
HEA - milk
Syns - 0.5 - need to find something else.

Well done on your loss @SingleSue. Your lightest for 20 years is an amazing achievement. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Definitely no need to feel embarrassed @Suffolksue. You're obviously determined to get to a weight that you're happy with otherwise you wouldn't keep trying. I always find writing a meal plan and a shopping list to go with it helps me even if I switch things around as the week goes through.
I find it relatively easy to stay on plan in a 'normal' week but how often do we have normal weeks where everything goes along smoothly with nothing unexpected!🤣 Also we're always saying on here that SW has to fit around our lifestyles . I find eating out is the biggest issue, both the food and the wine syns.
I often have syn free/low syn days @Coxy11 so wouldn't be looking for anything else. Personally I prefer to have lots of treats at weekends instead of daily but we're all different. Do let us know what you decide to do tomorrow?🤔
Today's plan-
B- HEB porridge, berries (S), banana (F), HEA milk
L- LO hotpot (P,F,S), pickles (S)
D- Sausages, SW chips, baked beans (F), roast red onions, mushrooms (S)
Syns- Aldi sausages 1, weekend wine😁1 -
Nice loss @singlesue. @Suffolksue don't beat yourself up, clean slate and all that.
@bubbs DM you later.
@maman, my being AF (wellbeing) does mean I can get away with some higher calorie foods for Syns without too much juggling of Syns. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)1 -
I'm lucky in that I can keep on track without going to SW (or any other slimming club), middle son however is not quite so lucky and struggles without that accountability that comes with paying and going each week.
I'm actually doing better than I was when I was at SW, feel less restricted, have more choice and can manage week to week functions, socialising etc better than I could than when I was going and following the plan. Mentally it has been better for me too, the whole psychology of foods having syns (I know it means something else but when you say the word out loud, the connotation is that a certain food or a meal is sinful or bad).We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
