I've given up on group @bubbs!  Haven't been since January.  Got fed up with the 15 mile drive each way and wasn't even enjoying it any more so decided not to bother anymore.

How did you do your melt in the middle fish cakes?  Assume babybel in the middle of the fishcake mix?

Well done @SingleSue.  You're still losing so all good.

I know you havent been ,but because you said hope you are still in target tomorrow, thought you was going group.

Mash potatoes, I cook with a pinch of salt so just added cooked smoked haddock, good grind of black pepper. I made 4 patties. Put baby bel on 2, put the other patties ontop and rolled in dry couscous, sprayed with frylight and put in the oven

Morning all, cold and bright this morning but turning cloudy later, probably a few showers this evening as well but at least there's no more washing to do!

Busy day today as DH and I are taking my friend to the hospital at Canterbury for a pre op as she's having her 2nd cataract done early next month.  As her appointment is 12.30 we'll be eating out - could have done without this today but it's how things have worked out.

Pleased to say the lb has stayed away and I am just half lb inside top end of target range.  I'm fairly certain food will be OK while we're away it'll just be the drinks as probably won't be able to get diet mixers!  I don't generally drink cocktails as find fruit juices far too sweet and nearly all of them have juice in them.  If I have a cocktail it will be a mojito so just the white rum to be counted for syns - probably the lowest synned cocktail you can get.

    Today's plan:

B - porridge made with water
    L - eating out
D - pasta bake using the LO pasta/tomato sauce from yesterday

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
Syns - depends what I have for lunch!  No alcohol tonight as need to leave home around 2am to pick up DD1 and partner to go to the airport.

This will probably be my last post until I get back!

    Hi all from Crete!

Glad to read of the STSs and losses plus the size 14 top NSV 😊

I wish I could say the 5* AI holiday has been fun. Unfortunately we have had a litany of aggro including being given a tiny room overlooking a cesspit (garden view??), the paint door (only door) wouldn’t lock so maintenance were sent to change it. Asked to change rooms and they gave us a better room the following day.  AI only in one restaurant at certain times - not even a snack available around the pool, but the piece de resistance has to be the bar lady forging DH’s signature on a €10 cocktail we never had. It was my birthday on Tuesday so we had two cocktails each (2 x €20 bill) but then other one was on our room bill. We queried this with reception who produced the signed tickets and it was clearly forged and only 2 minutes after our first order. Absolutely astonishing. Resort is 45 minutes taxi from Nearest town (€110 return fare) despite being listed as in Agios Nicolaos. I had pre booked a boat trip to Spinalonga on Monday so had no choice but to go. Have had a few tears this week - just wanted to be able to relax not have a struggle on our sunshine break 😢

Im trying to be sensible with buffet food -
fruit and yog for breakfast and salads/meat for lunch and dinner. Weather also good so getting some colour on us too 😊

Well done on your loss @Matron_Midge.👏👏👏 You can't be far away from target now.

So pleased you got back into range @joedenise. Have a great time in Tunisia, enjoy the sunshine. 😎

Really sorry to hear that your holiday isn't what you'd hoped for @Coxy11. I hope you enjoyed Spinalonga despite the exorbitant taxi fare. I really loved the Victoria Hislop story as I'm sure you did. Can't wait to read her latest book.

It's definitely soup weather here @bubbs. I ate the last portion from the freezer yesterday but I've got some tinned Heinz after you gave the heads up on the Sainsburys offer a couple of weeks ago. 👍

I went to WI this morning and lost 1.5lbs. I'm now exactly at the bottom of target range. I'm delighted with that. 😁 The building work should be finished before I have to go again so now I've just got to try to eat fairly SW friendly as the oven will likely be out of action from Monday.

    Today's plan -
    B- HEB Weetabix, HEA milk
    L- JP sweet (F), prawns (P), salad (S)
    D- liver and onions (P, S), mash, LO gravy (F), veg (S)
    Syns - LTL mayo 1
