Morning all, still very cloudy here although there is a bit of blue sky in places. We still have the weather warning but it didn't come to much here yesterday, just a short shower so maybe we won't get any at all today.
I'm still picking loads of cherry tomatoes and a few courgettes although they are nearly finished. Have picked a couple of beef tomatoes and there are still quite a few on the plants that are green. No doubt we'll end up losing those as they'll probably go too far while we're on holiday.
Today's food isn't going to plan as DH decided to cook the 4 sausages rather than just 2 so today's breakfast will be using most of today's syns! Tomorrow will be better as it will be bacon instead of sausages so will be syn free. No doubt DH will moan that it's not as filling as having sausages but I'm not getting more out of the freezer!
So today's plan:
B - fry up with sausages (one pork, one Old English)
L - spicy courgette soup (it's a WW recipe someone posted on another thread I read)
D - keema curry, rice, mango chutney
HEA - milk
HEB - bread (with soup)
Syns - pork sausage 6.5; Old English sausage 7; mango chutney 1; may have a couple 0% G&T
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all 👋🏻
Hope all in need get the help 💞
Well that’s the first week back done (knackered as usual). Lovely children in the classes I support although still on going concerns with child from previous Year group that I still get pulled into (can’t help the love 💞🤪).
WI today and feeling fat 🥺 BUT lost 2lb 🫨 so target is getting closer again 🤗. (4lb since July now 🤪). Putting it down to having less than 10 syns a day, not intentional just how it’s worked out.
Have a good weekend all 👊🏼Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Have a fab holiday @Coxy11. Well done on the losses @maman and @TakeItEazy 🎉
Another pound off for me. I’m happy, especially as I think I might have broken the yo-yo effect 😁
It’s not cold here but very dull and there’s a very slight smattering of rain now and again. Decided to pop into town after class for a wander and browse round the shops. Managed to pick up 2 x 2,000 piece jigsaws in a charity shop, fantastically cheap and will stop me eating at night!
So far just had fruit and yoghurt as I’m not particularly hungry and looking forward to homemade burgers, chips and salad for dinner. Will have HEXB roll and use some syns on M&S burger sauce.0 -
Well done on your loss @Jellybaby. 👏👏👏 I do hope you have beaten that yo-yo pound!
You too @TakeItEazy. 👍 That's an excellent result after being back at school.
Overcast and cloudy here @joedenise but almost no rain. Hope the sausages were worth the syns. 🤔
I've been busy all day so didn't manage to get lunch. I just grabbed some ham and tomatoes when I got home which will keep me going until dinner. We had porridge and strawberries for breakfast and spaghetti Bolognese is for dinner. So only syns to come in weekend wine. 😊0 -
Evening all 😁
Well done TIE and Jelly 😁
I had a maintain but happy with that as is bottom half of target anyway.
I have literally just sat down and ate tea since being back from group, we had so many orders to do, most ever 👏👏 i had half a pizza and it was very nice too, with salad and BNS chips. Place is still like a bombs gone off but will stay like it till tomorrow 🤣🤣

@maman - the sausages definitely weren't worth it. Still got 4 of each left in the freezer. Hopefully next time DH will remember to do just one sausage and some bacon each day rather than 2 sausages in the same day. Definitely will not be buying them again!
I'm trying to stick to 15 syns a day this week in the hopes of shifting that odd 0.5lb which doesn't want to go. I'll probably put on another half stone over the next couple of weeks and be battling to shift that before the next holiday in January!

Perhaps you could buy some of your butcher's sausages for you and DH could eat up the M&S ones @joedenise? 🤔
Are you going AI to Tunisia? 🤔 I've never been there but I'd have thought there would be plenty of salad stuff, vegetables and spicy meats.
It would be good to get back into target before you go.🤞0
