Afternoon all, the morning has just disappeared! Popped down to my friend to take her some tomatoes as we are absolutely over-run with cherry tomatoes; also took her one of the beef tomatoes. Not as many of them as cherry though but still got 2 plus the one we've started in the fridge.
I've already made some passatta and put in the freezer. Think I'll make some pasta sauce later in the week, probably Wednesday, to use up whatever tomatoes are left in the fridge and freeze for when we're back home.
We were forecast a storm for the early hours this morning but it didn't happen - looks like it was further north than us then @bubbs! Was only supposed to be cloudy today but it's raining now - the very fine stuff and very heavy but at least it will save watering the garden later!
Today's plan:
B - fry up
L - burger, onions, gherkin slice in soft pitta
D - roast pork, air fried potatoes, veg
HEA - milk
HEB - soft pitta
Syns - not sure but may have a couple of Skinny Dream or similar and a couple of 0% G&Ts
Have a good day everyone.

We've had a strange day, sometimes tipping down others bright sunshine. 🤔
STS is fine @bubbs. When you're well in target then maintaining is perfect. 👍
It won't be long before your DH retires so hopefully things will get easier when he can help during the week. So pleased the business is going well. 😊
We've never done AI @joedenise although did once get upgraded to half board when company messed up a booking. Usually we've rented villas and eaten out for main meal and had ongoing nibbles (cheese, pate, salad etc) for dinner/lunch which isn't hard work. I'm really envious of you having sun. ❤️🌞
Busy again today but did manage a late lunch. I bought some YS prawns, yummy! 😋
Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
L- JP (F), prawns (P), salad (S)
D- HB steak (P, S), SW roast potatoes (F), veg (S)
Syns - LTL mayo 1, weekend wine 😁

Morning all, it's very wet today so have had to put the washing on the airer. No way am I leaving a load of washing to come back to - will have enough from holiday so have it all planned out! Darks today, whites tomorrow and bedding on Wednesday. If the bedding doesn't dry by Thursday morning I'll put it in the tumble dryer but hopefully that won't be necessary if I keep turning it during the day!
Sorry @bubbs meant to say well done on your STS - it's a good result when you're in target range particularly at bottom end as you are. I'm really hoping for a loss this week to take me back into range before going away! Good idea not to keep listing up to the last minute. The week before going away is always busy with trying to get normal stuff done without any extras!
Today's plan:
B - toasted cheese sandwich, pickled onions
L - spicy courgette soup (just needs reheating as in the fridge from the other day)
D - jacket potato, beans, last of the salad
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - probably a couple of cereal type bars 7 or 8 depending which ones I have!
Have a good day everyone.0 -
It was a test of our resolve yesterday, we had a day out to escape the madness of the Tour of Britain cycle race and the local roads. It was only supposed to be for a film but with road closures, decided to get out early and make a day of it rather than risk getting stuck and missing the film.
This meant we had to be out at lunchtime but we did our research, knew what to have and amazingly (for me), actually stuck to it! Got a bit tempting at times to just say begger it but I am very proud of ourselves, we all kept to plan.
I say all, youngest son is a tiny tot both in height and size (5ft nothing and looks like a 12 year old but is actually 26) but as he is so small, it doesn't take much for just a couple of pounds over his ideal weight to really show in his clothes. He's had a couple of weeks of having events and his waistband is feeling it even thought his actual weight has barely moved, so he is having a careful week.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Well done on resisting @SingleSue. It's really hard when eating out. I was very tempted when we had a buffet supper last week. Friends were having meat pie (which looked delicious) but I stuck with the salmon, new potatoes and veg which paid off on the scales.👍🏼 Hope they're kind to you this week too.🤞🏼
I feel for your son. I think I ignored gaining weight for too long because I'm tall and could get away with it with some careful dressing.
It's dry here @joedenise and it's meant to stay that way so I've put some washing on. Builders are working outside today so I can access the kitchen. Hopefully the forecast will be correct for once.🤞🏼 Unfortunately, my tumble drier is stored away in the shed so not got that as an option.
You seem to have stuck well with the plan this week so I do hope you get back into range before you go away.
I've not decided what sort of potatoes to do for dinner today, mash, chips, cubes?🤔
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, scrambled eggs (P), tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
L- ham (P), LO veg and pickles (S)
D- smoked cod (P), potatoes (F), spicy cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms (S)

Morning all, much colder this morning but at least it's dry. A couple of bits of yesterday's washing didn't quite dry on the airer so have hung out on the line. It will be joined shortly by the load that is currently washing. It's going to be a busy day starting with a waxing appointment in town. Need to buy some fruit as we're completely out but only need enough for the next few days.
Back home and my hairdresser is coming to give me a good trim - that'll be about 11ish - she never gives me an exact time as it depends on the traffic!
Will need to get lunch sorted out early as need to leave about 12.30 for an eye hospital appointment for Joe over at Maidstone. His appointment isn't until 1.30pm but we can never be sure how long it's going to take, especially as the parking is difficult. We usually end up having to park in the car park furthest from where the clinic is!
Will still need to do some housework when we get back but if I don't feel like it then it can wait until tomorrow!
Today's plan:
B - Weetabix
L - brunch hash
D - sweet and sour pork, rice
HEA1 and 2 - milk
HEB - Weetabix
Syns - no idea
Have a good day everyone.0
