That's right @TakeItEazy, the Tesco finest are 5.5 syns unless they are the Irish bigger ones which are 8!

Small change of plan for dinner. I'd forgotten a bag of YS stir fry veg so that will be the sides for dinner tonight. Cauliflower and greens will have to be eaten tomorrow. 🤔

Change of plan here too!  Decided to just do air fried sausages, new potatoes and green veg rather than toad in the hole and roast - main reason being I decided to have a slice of the fruit loaf that DH picked up when we went shopping!  Pretty sure that will be more than the batter!  Think it's probably 5 for a slice of the loaf plus 2 for the spread!

I've also made some mini lemon meringues in ramekins so that will be pudding tonight and tomorrow.  They look pretty good and only 0.5 syns each (they used to be free before SW decided granulated sweetener needs to be synned).  Looking forward to those.

    Evening all

Sorry Beanie and Kelly but been hot here today and tomorrow supposed to be even hotter!

Maman glad you had a nice day 😁

We had to buy a new fire but couldn't find one to fit the surround, we do use it alot when it's cooler in the evenings and don't want the heating on, so we looked around and they were the same price on Amazon, so ordered one, complete with a new surround and really pleased with it, so all ready for cold weather now!

    Food today

Picky plate with left over pork from yesterday, was only a couple of slices, 2 boiled eggs, tomato, watermelon.

Teas jacket pot, with hexa cheese spread and beans, salad and ham .

Might make "apple pie" to have with my ice cream as not had for ages.

Company shop tomorrow , yoghurt please 🙏🙏

TIE - premium sausages are 5.5 syns each - would assume that's what the Tesco Finest are.  Standard sausages are 4.5.
    Ouch! Glad I only had 1 😳.

Glad you got a bargain (again😁) with your new fire @bubbs but it seems so wrong to be preparing for winter already. ☹️

Stir fry veg was a pleasant change with dinner. I just added 5 spice and a bit of soy sauce so all free. 👍

What sort of fire did you get @bubbs?  We've got an ethanol one which we use when it's a bit chilly but not cold enough to put the central heating on - warms up the living rom nicely.

You will have to order it again bulbs. I just don’t understand why Amazon don’t refund the difference if it  becomes cheaper in 7 days.

Give them a call and ask for a refund of the difference and if they won't then just return it and reorder once they've issued the refund.  If you use the box where it says save to account (they won't always offer this though) then it does on immediately they know it's on its way.

The weather here yesterday was glorious and much too warm, I had to open both patio doors and have them open until late last night to cool the bungalow down for the cats and middle son.

2lb loss for me and 1.5lb loss for middle son this week.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
