Welcome @ryan92.  That's a great loss in 4 weeks and it's perfectly understandable putting on 4lb during your holiday and having your 1st anniversary - happy belated anniversary wishes!  Just draw the line and get back on plan and the weight will continue to come off.  Please don't think of it as a diet it is much more a healthy eating plan.  It's not so much the food you actually eat but how it's cooked that seems to make a lot of the difference!

Thanks @bubbs, definitely pleased I hadn't actually put on that much.  Well done on your 0.5lb loss - much better than a gain but can understand why you're a bit disappointed as you don't seem to have that many syns.  Maybe that's part the problem!  It could also be because you are around target so don't seem to get big losses.  I'd just be happy if I could get back into target range before my holiday!

Welcome @ryan92 , you've done really well to lose that much in 4 weeks. 👍  As you said, you can eat really well and loads of it on SW. That's because it isn't a diet but a healthy way of eating. You can have as much as you like of healthy foods and a few treats thrown in.

I don't blame you celebrating your anniversary but perhaps a whole week was OTT. 🤔🤣 I'm sure you'll get back on plan ASAP.

That's a much better result @joedenise. You'll soon be back in target.

I've had that strange feeling in my throat too @bubbs. I've put it down to all the dust in the house. Hope you feel better very soon. 🤗

We've got respite from the builders for a couple of days. They won't be back until Tuesday. 👍

I did go well over syns yesterday but enjoyed them all. My friend had done chicken and salads so only syns were in some coleslaw and flavoured couscous. If I'd stopped there I'd have been fine. 😁 But I had a ginger parfait which was full of cream and then cheese and biscuits. ☹️

But that was yesterday and today I'm back on plan. 😁

We're having fake KFC with couscous again @joedenise 😋, while I still have an oven. First home game of the season so Crunchies are back! ❤️⚽🤣

    Today's plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA 1 milk, berries (S), banana (F)
    L- veggie omelette (P, S, F), pickles (S)
D- fake KFC (P), garlic mushrooms (S, HEA 2), green stuff (S), SW chips (F)
Syns - half Crunchie 3, weekend wine 🍷

Hi all, missing a few days as I’ve been helping a friend move house. Great body magic but was slightly irritated after humfing (lifting, but this suits my mood perfectly) dozens of boxes friend exclaimed ‘I should maybe have declutterred before I moved’ 🙈🙄

Anyways, lost a pound this morning. If I can do this every week I’ll be at target by Christmas 🥳

Going to view another bungalow this afternoon. Great price, needs loads of work all do-able, in a beautiful setting but way too isolated if I couldn’t drive. I need to see it though to get it out of my head!

Well done on the loss @bubbs and welcome onboard @Ryan92 you’re doing well.

Thanks for the welcome everyone :)
The off week was due to my holiday with my girlfriend too so as much as I probably overdone it, I didn't want us to be on holiday and feel like I restricted my food intake every day.

We're both doing it together so in the overall context, I think it was not as bad a gain as expected.

Been back on plan today so looking forward to a good loss on my weigh-in next Saturday lol

That's good that you and your girlfriend are both doing SW as it makes it so much easier if you're both on the same page.  Well done on getting straight back on plan.

Yes, well done @ryan92. I missed that you went away on the for your anniversary. Most of us expect a holiday gain. I'm pleased you're making SW fit around your lifestyle. @joedenise is right that with the two of you doing SW it will be so much easier as you can both cook and eat the same and you don't need to buy anything you can't trust yourselves with! 🤣

Well done on your loss @bubbs, even though you wanted more. 👏👏👏

Morning all, weather is definitely better today than yesterday with the sky blue and the sun shining.  As usual washing in the machine which will go out on the line shortly!

Nothing much planned for today other than a bit of housework and cooking!

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up
L - burger, onions, gherkin slices in soft pitta
D - roast pork, roast potatoes, roasted courgettes, mashed swede (or it might be carrot & swede - need to find in freezer!), green veg

    HEA - milk
    HEB - soft pitta
Syns - sausage 1; burger 0.5; may have a G&T later if I fancy it

Ended yesterday on 8 syns so only 18 used so far this week and not looking like I'll use that many today either!

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning all & welcome Ryan 👋🏻

WI yesterday with a lb on & was guttered! Feeling down all day but thought I’d try again before I went to bed & had lost that pesky lb 🤷🏼‍♀️. Weighed again this morning just to see and STS so taking that 🤗. Still a bit disappointed but better than the gain.
I am encouraged by the ‘not stuffing my face disappointed’ way I usually do so that’s a plus.
One week to go before back to work, not sure how I feel about going back. Things are so much better as I’m general TA rather than 1-1 but I have to cover 3 classes in the afternoon so not sure how that will work. It’s mainly interventions (spellings, maths, reading) plus aiding science lessons etc. We also have less staff so fully expecting to get the ‘tricky’ child too (which I really don’t want as unpredictable) been there done that & still suffering the results 🥺. Also two long day trips again as in the same year as I was. Getting too old for it 🤪.
Oh well onwards & downward (🤞🏻🤞🏻)
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
