Had a couple of days off plan. Went to a lovely Italian on Friday & yesterday I had an amazing fudge doughnut. Counting that as my birthday cake!

It's strange how we weigh differently depending on the time of day @TakeItEazy. 🤔 Well done on your pound loss! 👍

Not sure when your birthday is @beanielou but many happy returns anyway. 😁🤗

Do let us know what you thought of the bungalow @Jellybaby

I did a huge wash today @joedenise , then went out to fill up the car about a mile away. There was a shower of rain and roads all wet when I drove back. Fortunately it was very localised and none here, so all dry! 👍

We're having pork too. I decided against swede and carrot mash as I'll be glad of what's in the freezer when kitchen is out of action and I can microwave it.

For some reason, I've gone off roast potatoes, enjoying new potatoes instead. We will have roast carrots and onions though from the trivet under the meat (delicious and already tasted as cook's perks 😁😋).

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
    L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), salad (S)
D- roast pork (P), new potatoes (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns - HM gravy 4, weekend wine 😊

I'm driving to Wales tomorrow to visit family for the day. Will have SW breakfast and then who knows?? 🤔

    Hey everyone!
Hope you're all having a great day today!!

I had a cheeky little peek at my weight this morning just to see how being back on plan has kicked started my body again and I was a 3lb loss so I really can't complain at that :)

Really good on plan day today.
Tried the pork burgers from Iceland - absolutely delicious so definitely will be buying those again!

That's good to hear a positive review of a SW Iceland product @ryan92. I'm particularly interested because I'll soon have limited cooking facilities because of building work.

When is your official WI day? 🤔 3lbs already is excellent. 👍

Not really much to report here, been on plan (my own plan), no fall offs and all pretty boring really.

We weigh at the same time each week, there was a point we started driving ourselves crazy by jumping on and off the scales in an attempt to log a lower weight but as someone who can become obsessive with weight loss, decided that was the route to triggering it and put a stop to it.

I do do an every few days check though, it stops the antsy feeling and also helps if things are getting a little out of control on the weight side and to get things back on track. This morning's check is 1lb down so far this week, official weigh in is on a Wednesday.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Morning all, it's bright and sunny at the moment but the forecast is for rain later.  As we're going away from Thursday until Monday, so a nice long weekend, I've had to redo the menu plan again so that we can have things which need reheating and just cooking a carb and veg to go with it.  So today I'm batch cooking a keema curry which will have some tonight and the rest will be frozen to use over the weekend away.  Tomorrow I'm going to batch cook a sausage and been casserole and will do the same with that.  Have also had to think about the first couple of days of September already.  Will need to do the September menu plan fairly soon.  May just make a start on it over the next couple of days and then can finish it off once the weekend is out of the way!

Well done @ryan92 - that's a brilliant loss so far this week but it's often said that if it goes on quickly it will come off quickly!  Can't say it works for me I'm still trying to shift the half stone from my January and April holidays!

Enjoy your trip to Wales to see family @maman.  You know that even if your food is off plan today you'll be straight back on it tomorrow so just enjoy whatever syns you end up with today.  At least there won't be wine syns as you're driving so that's a bonus!

Glad things are going well for you @SingleSue and that the weight is still coming off.  You seem to have worked out a way of losing weight that suits you so keep on doing what you're doing!

    Today's plan:

    B - cheese omeltte
L - special fried rice with pork - from the SW book The Little Book of Lunches; this is quite an old one so no idea if it's still available but it's got a few recipes I use from time to time but first time for this one
    D - keema curry, rice

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
HEB - none planned but may have a cereal bar or two later with a cuppa (at least it will save syns!)

Syns - may well have a lolly later for 6 syns.

    Have a good day everyone.

Edited after lunch:  won't bother with the special fried rice recipe again!  Virtually no flavour even though I added extra soy sauce!  Ended up using a few syns for some sweet chilli sauce, LOL!

    Afternoon all,

Enjoy your trip to Wales @maman.  Excellent loss already @ryan92 it will motivate you to keep going!  Keep going @SingleSue you’re on course for a loss on Wednesday.  Belated happy birthday @beanielou 🥳

I’ve decided against putting an offer in on the bungalow - I think!  There are six other really interested buyers and it will probably go way over the asking price and my top budget. It all comes down to the location, it just won’t work if I couldn’t drive and I have to be sensible about this.

Food was a bit off plan yesterday as I had lunch out with DS2, chose a chicken salad but it came with potato salad, coleslaw and dressing. No idea the syns but it was delicious 😎 did give DS the chips that also came with it and was also not mentioned on the menu! Also had coffee and shared a slice of cake with my friend. Line drawn - again!

    Today’s food:
    B - fruit salad, Kvarg 0.5
L - lentil soup, toasted soft pitta with ham salad
D - chicken stir fry, noodles
