We've decided not to go away this weekend as we're going to be meeting up with DD2 next weekend instead.  The weather forecast isn't brilliant this weekend either, hopefully next weekend will be better!

    Great bargains again @bubbs!

Morning all, think we made the right decision to not go away in the motorhome this weekend!  The forecast is horrible - wind and rain all day tomorrow.  It's horrible outside this morning very windy and showery at the moment.  According to the forecast it should be sunny from about 10 until 2 but it's not looking that way at the moment!

Not had a good week and I said yesterday I was expecting it to be a gain!  Well I was right but it worse than I thought it would be at 2.5lb!  I really must knuckle down if I'm to shift this weight before my holiday in 3 weeks time!  If I can shift lb a week (unlikely!) I'll be back just inside target range!  The way things are going at the moment I'll be back where I started 13 years ago!

There will definitely be no wine this week and I will stick to G&Ts when I have alcohol and 0% G&Ts during the week.  So with that in mind today's plan:

    B - mushroom omelette
L - tuna mayo sandwich (unfortunately there will be syns for the tuna as been given a tin in oil!  I need to check syns but hopefully not too many)
D - Fakeaway KFC, chips, beans, corn on the cob

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - LTL mayo 1; tuna in oil 4 per 100g; couple of G&Ts 6

    Have a good day everyone.

Well after a disastrous week I am amazed to see I have lost 11/2 pounds
No idea how but I’ll take it draw a line and this week I will have the self discipline to write everything down .
    Help !

Well done on your loss @Suffolksue. 👏👏👏 So what if you think it's undeserved, just take it! 🤣

Whatever did you do for 2.5lbs @joedenise? ☹️ I don't remember you having masses of syns? 🤔 I know you'll gain on holiday but it feels better to start in target. Good luck for next week. 🤞

More super bargains @bubbs. You're a shining example of how to do SW and be mse. 😁

I'm out for lunch (again 😉) today. We're going to a friend's for a barbecue so it's likely that there will be some SW friendly food but she often makes a pudding and it's hard to refuse at someone's home unlike in a restaurant. At least, being Friday, I have wine syns planned for.

The coming week is going to be' good when I can' again but 5 of the 7 days should be OK (kitchen facilities permitting). 🤞

I really don't know where 2.5lb came from @maman!  Certainly unexpected - was expecting to put on a lb so was really surprised.  Hopefully I can shift it all over the next 3 weeks before our holiday where of course I'm expecting to put on.  Much as I like the Ai holidays they do play havoc with my weight!

Enjoy your good when you can week @maman!  Hopefully you won't have kitchen problems on the 5 days eating at home.

Well done @Suffolksue on your loss.  Definitely take it and run!

Morning all, what a horrible day!  We're on a flood warning for my end of the Island but won't affect us as we're at the 2nd highest point on the Island!  There's absolutely no wind today which is the exact opposite of what it has been the the last days.  There's no heavy rain at the moment but it is very drizzly!

I couldn't believe my gain yesterday as it certainly wasn't warranted so decided to get on the scales this morning and I suspect I may have had some water retention yesterday as I am 2lb lighter this morning!!!!  It's the only explanation I can think of so the gain was 0.5lb which is a bit nearer what I was expecting.

I ended up on 10 syns yesterday without having the G&Ts!  I had a couple of 0% G&Ts and an ice lolly for 6.

No plans to go out today particularly with the forecast as it is!  Today's plan:

    B - fry up
L - toasted cheese sandwich, pickles
    D - pasta bolognaise

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
Syns - sausage 1; may have a lolly later 6

    Have a good day everyone.

Denise that is a better gain , more what you expected.

I lost 0.5 , yes a loss is better than a gain but i was disappointed, but he ho!

    It is torrential  here.

I don't feel well dunno whats up with me apart from my throat hurts, it's not sore just feel like a lump, felt like it yesterday too , hope it soon does one, too busy to be ill 😂

    Hey everyone!
Just seen this thread ; I've started slimming world 4 weeks ago and I'm just over a stone down which is awesome!
I've had an off plan this week with being on holiday and my 1 year anniversary with the Mrs so a 4lb gain is disappointing, but in context, not as bad as I was expecting.

Fully back on plan today and I am still a bit shocked at how much I am eating compared to previous diets I've been on ; this is a much more sustainable lifestyle change for me rather than a diet which is even better :)
