I attempted the pork pie by assembling and refrigerating overnight, and cooking this morning. The outside ‘pastry’ came away from the meat whilst cooking so I did a running repair and cooked for a further 5 minutes. It didn’t look pretty but I’ll have a piece later when I’m home.

Tomorrow’s meetings – it gets worse – the quiz the consultant wants us to do is on the app and I no longer have access. Mentioned this on the whatsapp chat and she did a laughing emoji?! We have two new members tomorrow – one a referral with an NHS code and the other a ‘very emotional woman’ apparently. Not sure how we will deal with that being that there are only 4 of us (1 Pay, 2 Weigh and 1 Shop). Have said I’ll get there for 7am but I’m not staying past 9.30am (end of 2nd pay window) as I have s**t to do.

Dinner is baked cod and prawns with green veg. DH has been tasked with buying the green veg as he is at home. I am running home later to clear my head and reset for the weekend.

Afternoon all, the weather is lovely again now, was a bit cloudy this morning.

Sounds like tomorrow could be a bit difficult @Coxy11 (think that's a bit of an understatement!).  Hope someone is good with emotional people although hopefully she won't be too emotional as it's her first group - would probably we worse if it was her 2nd group and she didn't lose what she expected!  I think some people expect huge losses their first week and it doesn't always happen - certainly didn't for me!

It was WI for me this morning and I'm 0.5lb heavier than last week which I'm OK with considering I put on 2lb over last weekend while we were away!  I am now 1.7lb above top end of target range.  I think I will continue writing everything down as it seems to help.  I printed some food diaries from the internet where it splits out the Protein, Speed, Free, HEAs, HEB and Syns which I find quite helpful even if I struggle to get all the Speed foods into the little box!

    Today's plan:

    B - mushroom omelette
L - cheese and onion sandwich
    D - Hairy Biker's diet lasagne, salad

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - weekend wine

    Have a good day everyone.

The half and half (white and wholemeal) are not but protein thins are. Same with Aldi which are probably better VFM. Nothing on the app about just wholemeal. 🤔

That was an amazing gain /loss that you posted from FB @bubbs. I'm guessing that the loss was mostly seeing off water retention from the flight and the rest was the sort of gain I normally have after a 3 week holiday. 🤣

I checked in at the surgery scales today and still in target (just😁), less than a pound gain after a couple of meals out. 👍

Lovely day here too. Lots of 30 - 50% off buys in Aldi. They seem to be a regular thing recently.

Hope all goes well tomorrow @Coxy11. Hopefully, someone else has the quiz on the app.

Next Tuesday is our wedding anniversary. We're planning a day out and then a meal in our favourite Italian later in the week. So next week is definitely going to be 'good when I can'.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, egg, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
    L- LO ham hash (P, F, S), eggs (P), pickles (S)
D- chicken (P), SW chips (F), green stuff, tomatoes, mushrooms (S)
    Syns - weekend wine 🍷
