Fortunately, on the rare occasions our consultant is away, we have a local stand in. I know my consultant covers for others too so it's a reciprocal arrangement. It does seem a bit iffy telling people your password though but I doubt you'll get into any trouble personally @Coxy11. Well done on your PB.👍🏼
Sorry to hear that your having tooth problems @Mrbowie and @weekendsaway. I don't suppose you'll be lucky enough to lose weight as a result of putting up with the pain. It never seems to work that way.
I was a bit surprised (but pleased they were being realistic) to read in a SW magazine that some people might prefer to cut out certain foods @weekendsaway. I'd always thought SW prided itself on saying that no foods are banned. I've more or less done that with crisps as they call to me from the cupboard. I probably have about 6 packets a year on high days and holidays.
Rent a Thug is coming here this evening @joedenise. We never have any racial problems in our city. Rishi Sunak and his parents worship at the Hindu temple, we have a woman Sikh MP and my local shopping centre is full of lovely coffee shops and ice cream parlours where Muslims like to socialise because many of them don't drink. We've had Polish people here since WW11 and the excellent teaching hospital is staffed by hundreds of medics from all over the world. I think we could do with an opportune rail strike as I'm sure some locals will join in if trouble is on offer.
I've been clearing out more kitchen cupboards and drawers today. I'm trying to clear away all the spares that we don't have to use day to day so just enough crockery etc for day to day use. What's left will be easy to clear when the time comes. I bought some plastic baskets so everything is still fairly accessible in the spare bedroom and I'll be able to use the baskets later in my new walk in larder.😁
Today's plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- ham, eggs (P), vegetable hash and pickles (S), 2 potatoes (F)
D- Spaghetti with meatballs in tomato sauce (P,S,F), HEA2 Parmesan

Plastic baskets are brilliant in the walk in larder! I use all sorts of boxes on the shelves - my favourite (which holds the large tubs on various spices like Tikka, medium curry powder, cinnamon) is a try that held clementines one Christmas!). I also have a basket which holds packets of regularly used spices like cumin seeds, ground cumin, coriander seeds etc.

Afternoon all, still doing ok food wise!Have a chronic ear infection at the moment 🥺 , the hoohaa to get a Drs appointment is taking the pi$$. They are part of this collaboration with pharmacists to treat minor medical conditions so referred me to our local chemist. I rang them for appointment & was told they only treat children (doesn’t say that on the poster they have in store🤬). I responded to the message from the surgery explaining this but obviously no response then the weekend 😤. Anyway got a message on the Sunday for a face 2 face on Monday. Now on antibiotic ear spray! During this time I also had chronic toothache 🥺. Tooth has improved but being careful how I eat on that side.I have never seen any veg boxes in our Lidl 😕
I was invited to a colleague’s house for ‘nibbles’ on Monday night, had a good laugh with her & ex colleague! Crisps were consumed plus Pepsi max. Sneaky peek this morning & actually lost another lb 😳. 🤞🏻 I can keep it off for WI on Saturday 🤞🏻.
Our lad bought us all the Rob Burrows & Kevin Sinfield memorial rugby shirt 🤗😍! Love that boy (most of the time 🤣).
Murky here , where has the sun gone 😕Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

How scarey for you @bubbs . Im so glad we left London when we did. I lived through the Brixton Riots, the poll tax ones , Tottenham ones, Croydon ones, all absolutely terrifying. I think the worse were the Brixton ones, seeing the streets empty of people and everywhere boarded up. Sure there is unrest in Belfast but up here on the coast, things are still "Normal" although a lot of the B&B's and hostels are housing immigrants. Theres a huge back lash to the violence in Belfast which is really good to hear.Got to love a NSV@maman I have to ban certain food, I seriously have no control. A loaf of wholemeal bread will go blue moulded before it gets eaten here, and I kid you not, a loaf of while sliced went down my neck in two days - not even full days, bought it lunchtime - gone the following night. And of course butter was added and then to really top it all off - I demolished half a HUGE jar of Nutella. I can not have white bread near me. I dont want butter on wholemeal and I certainly dont want Nutella, but white bread screams at me. Same as biscuits, a packet is going to be snaffled with a cuppa. And for me, they wont fill me, Ill be hungry and still want my dinner
@TakeItEazy , sorry to hear about the earache, thats up there with toothache for sure , you have my sympathy
Well Ive had a hell of a day. I was so proud of myself last year when the GP agreed I no longer needed BP meds and stopped them. However it was short lived and Ive been back on them about 6 weeks. Only its not being controlled well and Ive been left feeling really poorly. This morning I was struggling to get my breath and had severe palpitations ( been getting them on and off and a very high heart rate ) so ended up in the treatment room having an ECG as an emergency - at the same time as I should have been seeing the dentist. Anyways, upshot is, Im signed off from work, another drug added to to list and loads of bloods and a follow up for next week. Managed to re arrange the dentist, rushed around to him, he wouldnt touch me cos of the BP. Stuck some fluoride past around my gums, another course of antibiotics and told to get in touch when BP is under control
So still got a sore gob, not as sore as it has been but still....
And feeling sorry for myself, not having eaten more then 2 scrambled eggs in two days , I walked into the cafe and ordered chips, cheese and curry sauce - on skinny fries. Took me over an hour to eat it, every morsel cut into tiny pieces, waiting for the chips to be cool enough and soggy enough to get chewed and swallowed Probably a zillion syns, but omg, I needed it. I was so tempted to ask for bread and butter to mop the plate as well
But seriously that really all thats passed my lips today
