Afternoon all, the morning has just disappeared today!  Was lovely and sunny earlier but has clouded over in the last hour or so but still very warm.

Had an early start as the new to us car we got recently had to go back to the garage as the battery is knackered!  They've put a new battery on so now should be OK starting it.  DH had to use a battery starter pack this morning even though he'd charged it up over the last couple of days.  When he checked it yesterday the voltage had dropped down to 0.9 - no wonder it wouldn't start!

Also been shopping and also had my haircut.  Next booked in for a few days before we go on holiday next month.

@Suffolksue - the Belvita biscuits are 3 syns each.  Seems quite high to me for something not very filling!

You've done pretty well @beanielou to only be 0.5lb above target.  I'm sure you'll shift that and more this week same as you always do when you put your mind to it.

    Today's plan:

B - none - didn't have time as needed to leave before 8
L - toasted cheese sandwich, pickles
D - bacon, eggs, chips, beans, mushrooms

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - frozen chips 5

    Have a good day everyone.

Didn't manage to post yesterday but stayed 100% on plan. We had a meeting with builder and architect and it looks like about a week or so before they knock out the kitchen wall. We'll still have some kitchen facilities but limited.

I'm sure you'll get a wee loss next week @beanielou. I think you've done brilliantly to stay so close to target when you've not been to group for some weeks.👍🏼

Welcome @weekendsaway. It's really hard to lose that last few pounds. I checked my book and it took me 10 weeks to get from the top of my range to my actual target. There was a holiday gain in there but 10 weeks for 3 lbs!! It is hard but it's possible. I'd recommend a meal plan so that you know you have food in that's SW friendly and a food diary to write  down everything that passes your lips. I wouldn't go without syns, just keep to the 105.

I really like using a syn bank @Suffolksue. You've got loads left to take the grandson for lunch. I've always done it and it's worked for me. I suppose it depends whether you like a daily treat or, like me, you'd rather wait and have a big treat at the weekend or whenever.

Brilliant boxes from Lidl @bubbs. I don't think I could trust myself with all those crisps in the house but I'm sure your DH will discipline himself. 😇

That's good service from the garage @joedenise. It was damp here this morning but it's cleared up now. I did manage to get out for a bit of a walk and I went dancing last night so I'm keeping up the Body Magic.

I know I always write 'HEB toast' on my menu for the day but we've been having a range of different things lately rather than my usual Aldi bread. We've had pittas, wholemeal muffins and bread rolls  and this week I noticed that Aldi had protein sandwich thins. They're all a bit more substantial than a slice of bread and particularly good if you want to make a sandwich.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk, eggs (P), baked beans (F)
    L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), salad (S)
D- savoury mince (P,S), new potatoes (F), cauli, broccoli, cabbages (S)
    Syns- 0
