Well done on your loss @bubbs. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ I dream of being below target. I'm feeling really fat today but hopefully a week on plan properly will help.ย

Are you planning to go away in October or could DH move his leave to finish earlier rather than go back for a few days ? ๐Ÿค” It sounds like student support will be worsened as a result of the redundancies. I suppose it's all about money.

We have a student hall of residence a couple of hundred metres from us. It's mainly for the Chinese students. If they stopped coming in their numbers it would be a financial disaster for the university.ย

Yes we are booked to go away a week because dh is 60.

This is why alot of unis are in a mess as they are not getting the internationals like they did , alot of there students are Chinese, Japanese and Europeanย

Just picked up morries tgtg bag and what a disappointment! 1 uncut small loaf, 2 packs of 6 rolls, 1 4 pack of rolls & 3 packs of mini doughnuts - total full price cost of ยฃ5.95. Reduced price ยฃ3.38 so saved a whole 29p ๐Ÿ˜ค the only good thing is all wholemeal bread!
First one Iโ€™d bought in months too. Wonโ€™t bother again.ย

Afternoon all, much fresher today thankfully. ย Didn't need to do any washing today but will do the bedding tomorrow as it's forecast to be much nicer with plenty of sunshine.

What a disappointment @TakeItEazy - I hate it when I get bags like that but fortunately it doesn't happen too often. ย There's usually some bread and/or cakes but I do usually get some fruit and veg as well. ย I would complain to TGTG you may get your money back - I know I have when I've complained about very poor value bags and that was certainly one if you only saved 29p. ย I get very annoyed that most of the bakery stuff seems to be at least 2 or 3 days old and too stale to even bother freezing. ย Have to say your bag was dearer than I pay for a Morrisons bag - I pay ยฃ3.09.

Line drawn and back on plan and I'm going to write it down again as it certainly seemed to work last week! ย Have to say though I managed to put on a couple of pounds over the couple of days away! ย Drinking wine is never a good idea when I'm trying to lose weight!!!! ย Must stick to spirits if I want a drink until I get back to target I think.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up
L - burger, onion, gherkin slices in soft pitta
D - sweet and sour chicken, rice

    HEA - milk
    HEB - soft pitta
    Syns - sausages 2; burger 0.5

    Have a good day everyone.

I paid ยฃ3.09, just the price working out! Couldnโ€™t believe there was no fruit or veg though ๐Ÿ˜•

That's really not worth the effort @TakeItEazy especially if you had to drive to pick it up. Glad it was wholemeal bread though.๐Ÿ‘†

It's a bit overcast at times here but a pleasant day @joedenise. I did the bedding yesterday and then cleared the basket with dark stuff and towels today.ย

I agree that, unfortunately, wine doesn't help lose weight. ๐Ÿ˜ Prosecco's not too bad though. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I've been to B&Q looking at taps and tiles so all behind with cooking today. Casserole is now in the oven so I'm getting there.

    Today's plan -ย
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)ย
    L- JP (F), tuna (P), salad (S)ย
D- beef in 'red wine' (P, S), SW roast potatoes (F), veg (S)ย
Syns - LTL mayo 1, cornflour 1, weekend wine ๐Ÿ˜

It was a bottle of Prosecco that I had @maman! ย DH only had a glass but I'd already had one in the pub at lunchtime!

Really must make the beef in 'red wine' at some stage as not had that for a long time.

    Evening all ๐Ÿ˜

Been so much cooler and better here today thank goodness, just reading back, glad you mentioned the bedding as just remembered duvet still on the line as it wasn't quite dry. I did get 2 loads washed and dried today.

I have never bought a TGTG bag, i would have been disappointed too TIE, i have been lucky last couple of Monday's with Lidl ยฃ1.50 boxes, i will be there tomorrow too ๐Ÿ˜œ i have also had alot from Olio last couple of weeks.

DH cleaned the living room carpet today, it was desperate and looks so much better, well done him i say ๐Ÿ˜‚

I have just been notified i am in the running for Woman of the Year again, see if i can keep it from last year.ย

Made a couple of pork pies today

food at lunch was pitta hexb, baconand egg, tomato , 2 apricots and a nectarine on the side

Picky plate, 2 syns mayo i had to add after as couldn't fit it on the plate ๐Ÿคฃ

I know what i kept meaning to say, looks like Sainsburys are brining back glass jars for mayo, seen them in there last couple of weeks but no LTLย ย
